Howdy, I'm alive and mostly well. :-)
I have literally been working nights days and weekends, I was on overtime Wednesday afternoon, but whatever, here it is 3 am and I'm hoping to go to sleep soon....
anywho, I just watched a documentary on Ansel Adams, A photographer that I must admit to have never heard of until people threw his name my way on occasion and until this evening didn't really know who or what he was. I immediately went to Lr and processed this (one of two shots yet unprocessed that I have left.....) If you want to take the time and compare it to 'feeling small', or 'nothin to see here' , you'd see the difference in style. almost the same take, much different vibe. AA wanted to bring what he felt more than what he saw and I think this is along those lines. It is a subtle difference, but an important one I think. Looking at this stirs my soul, looking at this brings back that giddyness that I experienced watching the scene unfold. what do you think?
Once again I've fallen behind and I don't see me catching up soon as it is hectic here with work and the holidays are racing at me, but I wanted to throw this out there for debate before I checked out.

So if any one would have told me 4 years ago that I would have a cat SITTING on my kitchen table I would have said you were nuts - no cat would ever be allowed in my house let alone jump, sit, lay on my kitchen table ...but that was then this is now and Ansel pretty much rules the house

I'm sure most of us landscape photographers have been inspired by Ansel Adams some way or another. This is my poor attempt. I just love the shape and texture in this scene I shot at Diablo Lake Wa in the PNW.
Finished an abstract art in the mid night today. It’s about being calm, being silent in whatever situation and I just wanted to portray it an abstract form.
Sometimes images flash my mind, and I don’t know what I do but just flash colors and create something and later it really surprises me. Did I really do this? But still I do. I am not a great artist but I do anything and everything in my own way.
Even my friend’s keep texting me about great artists and I just can’t make them to realize that I was one among them working but still dream about being creative. It’s like they telling me to reach the depth of the ocean when it comes to art. Nobody has done that, maybe few god gifted artist.
So the expectation is too much though I left my job to pursue my passion for art. It is difficult to make them understand that I am an artist who enjoys my art in my own way. Time has come to make them realize. Please don’t send text messages. Simple logic. Because they expect me to do the art great artists have created. It’s time for me to break their myth when it comes to my art. These guys do garment business. so can i text them to become like Dolce & Gabbana. Its crazy.
Tomorrow I will know when my exhibition will be held in the month of December. Hope the lady who is helping me would love to see my new collections as she always do.
