The anklet is shaped like a truncated cone and decorated in the central panel with a champlevé gold plaque depicting a winged scarab pushing a sun disk. Two uraeus serpents on either side on the scarab frame the hieroglyph aa to create a design that forms the hieroglyphic group representing the royal name of Psusennes I: Aakheperre.
The inside of the item is inscribed with a dedication by Smendes, who was the High Priest of Amun and the son of Menkheperre. Friezes on the lower and upper borders of the anklet are made of small beads of lapis lazuli and gold. In addition to the central plaque, the bracelet is made of three panels decorated with crescent moons alternately made of gold and lapis lazuli and connected by hinges to the main section.
