On the front edge of a storm system that rolled through the Gulf Shores area while we were there...at this point, the sun was still shining with mostly blue skies but the wind was strong and blowing in off the ocean with some crazy waves. Not the day to try relaxing on the beach or enjoying some nice calm Gulf water. But still a good day just because you are at the beach!
