since last march, my dog and i have probably circled the house 1,800 times. but my problems are few. i've lived in the city (that means new york to me) in a studio apartment and worry about those in urban lockdown. just scream and we'll come running.

He’s 20 days old (actually I do not really know if it’s male or female…)
He’s a Siberian Hamster, very very little!
He came home the same day my friend Meg bought her hamster, so I wanna dedicated this shot to her and to all the hamsters lovers!
The only bad things about them…they have a short life, max 2 years…
It’s a pain, but I couldn’t resist to take another one…they’re so precious in their littleness…
Even Lassie smelled him in his cage while I was taking some shots… he’s so shy and still afraid!
But I hear him running in his wheels when the dark falls (they’re nocturne!)…
Don’t you ever feel like an hamster in a cage running in your personal cage?

I purchased a children's book called "Uncover a Dog" from Costco. The book contains cardboard pages that allow you to view different parts of the animal's anatomy--a book form of "The Visible Dog"! I bought one that has a horse, too. I photographed the pages using a piece of paper to keep the layers distinct. This is the bone-structure page, cut out and cleaned up. In Photoshop Elements 6, I placed that layer over a vintage cabinet card layer (from Flickr's "Textures for Layers Group") and added some more textures and layers to "etch" the skeleton onto the paper.
