First Responder: professionelle ehrenamtliche Ersthelfer
Sie sind gut ausgebildete Ersthelfer aus der Nachbarschaft: die First Responder oder auch Helfer vor Ort. Ihre Aufgabe ist es, im Ernstfall die therapiefreie Zeit bis zum Eintreffen des Notarztes oder Rettungsdienstes zu überbrücken. Damit übernehmen die First Responder, die ausschließlich ehrenamtlich arbeiten, eine wichtige Funktion in der Rettungskette.
Aber auch in Baden-Württemberg gibt es bereits erfolgreich funktionierende First-Responder bei den Feuerwehren. Da die Feuerwehren mit einem gut ausgebauten, flächendeckend funktionierenden Alarmierungssystem ausgerüstet sind, besteht die Möglichkeit, das therapiefreie Intervall am effektivsten zu verkürzen.

Tour De Ambulance is one vehicle containing the stories of multitudes: doctors, rescue workers, first responders, and civilians who became victims of russia’s war crimes since February 24th, 2022 — the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It also represents the horrors endured by those who survive, facing constant disruptions to all the infrastructure that makes it possible to live with dignity.
Our goal is to give representation and a voice to these people, whose lives often become abstractions against the backdrop of war. The pain of each one is as stark and inescapable as the bullet marks on this ambulance.
A shelled ambulance from the Kharkiv region of Ukraine is the heart of Tour De Ambulance. On September 2nd 2022, local authorities of the Kharkiv region reported that it was damaged by russia’s shelling of a local medical outpost. Several ambulances were destroyed and medical facilities were severely damaged, leaving local residents with no access to medical care.
This ambulance made a long journey through war-torn Ukraine and Europe to become a symbol of what is happening in Ukraine right now and every day for the past year.

Burt Reynolds plays race car driver J.J. McClure. Playing his mild-mannered mechanic counterpart, Victor Prinzim, is DeLuise (with a superhero alter ego, Captain Chaos, always waiting in the wings). Together, they participate in the Cannonball Run in an ambulance -- a heavily modified Dodge Tradesman van which, incidentally, was the same vehicle driven by director Hal Needham during the running of the real Cannonball.
I had to build this since a long time.
When i saw the Cannonball movies again to find some inspiration on cop cars these days, it was clear what caught my eye......
