Here it is a cosmic release of "Argonauts of Kosmos" by my beloved Julian Ray! Hooray :-)
The music was simply woven right from the star stuff !! Yes, it is and it inspired me to create this final design of the CD cover... I wove this image from numerous layers, stars and my feelings :-)
I love the feel of discovery in the entire album and all the mystery and majestic grandeur of the Cosmos that develop in its compositions. The cosmic soundscapes, Julian's freestyle and fusion of melodic and enigmatic themes will surely take you on a journey from star to star, from galaxy to galaxy :-)
So everyone is welcome to our Kosmic party to celebrate release!! :-)

Last night I did something I haven't done in a really REALLY long time - I bought a song. I decided to give Amazon mp3 a shot. DRM free = amazing. After a long night of reminiscing about my childhood while watching clips of the Spice Girls on YouTube, I bought their new song and stuck it on my iPod. It has been on repeat ALL DAY. It's a great song that's really bringing back a lot of memories. Hopefully I'll be able to get it out of my head soon though - it won't stop!

On this day in history in 1958 – the Billboard Magazine introduced its "Hot 100" chart, which was part popularity and a barometer of the movement of potential hits.
In 1936, Billboard magazine published its first music hit parade. The first Music Popularity Chart was calculated in July 1940. A variety of song charts followed, which were eventually consolidated into the Hot 100. The Billboard charts tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs or albums in the United States and elsewhere. The results are published in Billboard magazine. Today the Billboard biz, the online extension of the Billboard charts, provides additional weekly charts.
In 2005, Billboard changed its methodology to include paid digital downloads from digital music retailers such as Rhapsody, AmazonMP3, iTunes. In 2007 "Billboard" changed its methodology for the Hot 100 chart to include digital streams. The digital information at the time was obtained from Yahoo and AOL's streaming platforms. In 2012, Billboard dramatically changed the methodology for their country, rock, Latin, and rap charts, when they incorporated sales of digital downloads and streaming plays into what had been airplay-only charts. In 2013, Billboard announced another change in the methodology for their charts that incorporated YouTube video streaming data into the determination of ranking positions on its streaming charts. Billboard argued that this change was made to further reflect the divergent platforms of music consumption in today's world.
