Work in progress, getting there

In reference to my previous image of the two salt prints, this is the print that was made on Arches Platine. I still think the iPhone is giving it a little more contrast or clarity than the actual print, but it is a fairly close representation.

Contact printing on digital negative film and Fomalux SP111 paper (18x24) , development Fomatol PW, bleached in a dilution of 1+40 . sepia toner in a diluition 1+9 and selenium toner in a diluition 1+20.

One last post with this image which I was using as a test image for my salt printing. Originally taken on 4x5 film, this is an 8x10 print from an enlarged digital negative. I used the Bostick & Sullivan salt print LUT in creating the digital neg and it seems to have worked fairly good. The neg was printed on Inkpress transparency film on my Canon Pro 1000. The print is on Bergerr Cot 160. Overall, I am pleased with this print.

This image was hard to print on silver gelatin paper because the sky kept blowing out when I tried to get the contrast I wanted. I feel the salt process rendered it nicely. I'll probably wax the print to see if I can get a little more depth and contrast.
