I appear to have found the only Robin with a peanut allergy.... Or maybe it doesn't like this brand of peanut butter.

Linus - the cat who talks too much.

If you ever feel the need to talk to a cat, just come over for a nice chat with Linus. Don't hope that you will be able to speak much, though, as Linus will talk your ear off. And don't mention THE BIRDS or he will bombard you with information. Ah yes, and make sure that you have enough time as you won't be allowed to leave anytime soon.

Update on Fynn: he has had a flare-up of his digestive issues in the last few days and the vet is now quite sure that a food allergy plays a certain role as the new problems started when we added some normal cat food to the high calory food he had received for the last four weeks. It will be difficult to find out what exactly causes the reaction especially as he has lost a lot of weight already and we don't have much room for experiments. For the moment we continue with his high calory food and the vet thinks of giving him cortisone again for a while if things don't get stable to allow him to gain some weight again.

This Moʻai figure will cause a small wind storm if he is allowed to sneeze. Off to Costco for some bulk Claratin.

This face was actually being transported in a pick-up truck to a party on Vancouver Island.

My allergies are killing me, I keep feeling like I'm coming down with a cold, but nothing about the way I "feel" says that. It's only late at night, like now that I feel crappy. My poor nose is raw from my cheap kleenex....stupid CVS generic brand! I'm buying the ones with the aloe added tomorrow!

I worked on my weekend off so I'm overly pooped. That's OK though, I know that in a few weeks, I'll be relaxing on a white sand beach soon.

I asked lil unicorn if he wanted to take an allergy tablet before we went out exploring today, and he revealed to me that unicorns don't have allergies ... of any kind! Wow! I always thought I was a unicorn (naturally) but hearing this made it clear to me that I am not. I live in the south, land of perpetual warm/hot weather, including my oft bragged about mild winters. And for this reason, there is always something triggering some sort of pesky allergy attack ... that said, I'll take my mild winters any day over the blizzards that many other places deal with. And I'll keep my Benadryl supply topped up!

Happy Tuesday, everyone ... I hope the beauty of spring is starting to surround you all ... well, those friends who I share this hemisphere with at least! Sending tons of love! 💕❤️

Perhaps a bitter pill to swallow. Grand daughter Livia is allergic to the dog, so anytime she is over she needs help with that. When got them out I said...."wait a sec" and got the camera.

Both my wife and I have been having running noses since last week. When we walked across this canyon, we figured out why.

AKA Mountain Cedar, as in cedar "fever", the seasonal allergy that afflicts so many Central Texans...

ELS 501 sits north of Green Bay awaiting a down tree to be removed on a warm summer day. The tracks are covered in a weed called ragweed on the ELS mainly between Crivitz and Green Bay making for some mighty sinus problems.

The trail through this Michigan forest almost looks covered in snow in June.

I said goodbye to my beautiful Ellie Belly yesterday. I was privileged to spend 18 years and 3 months of her life with her. She was 4 weeks old when we met.

I met Ella and her brothers when the ACO brought these 4 starving kittens into our vet practice. I was the tech for the appointment. The ACO explained that the kittens were emotional eaters and she was afraid they would die over the long Labor Day weekend while she was out saving other animals. George and I hadn't been married all that long and I KNEW I should ask him before bringing 4 kittens into the house for a long weekend but I also felt like this was why I was born - to save 4 starving black kittens. I spent the entire Labor Day weekend with Ella and her brothers, even sleeping on the bathroom floor with them.

I kept Ella and her brothers until they reached 2 pounds and could be spayed/neutered and adopted out. Ella was the first kitten spoken for so I never thought I'd get to keep her. When her future family decided that they wanted a "mush" of a cat rather than a female cat, it was clear they should have her brother Egon. So I got to keep Ella.

She has been such a constant source of friendship and companionship - free from worry and drama. She didn't get in cat fights like Jimmy and Mack with the neighborhood bully, she didn't urinate inappropriately around the house like her brothers, she didn't get sick or have food allergies. She was just pure love and friendship.

Ella really started to show her age about 2 months ago and by this week, I knew her time was near. I didn't let her hit rock bottom. She was still having quality time every day. The night before we said goodbye, Ella joined me in bed and pressed her head to my head. She did this every night. She'd always come and press her head to mine and purr and purr while I petted her. That last night, she didn't purr - just pressed her head to mine. I took that to mean that she was tired and it was time.

On this Thanksgiving, I'm grateful for over 18 years with Ella.💜

The pollen is everywhere, covering everything it can find in a thick coat of that yellow stuff! Can you say Achoo?

In spite of the high count of tree pollen in our area, we dared to venture out to a nearby arboretum to enjoy the first weekend of spring with its beautiful, sunny weather.

Only recently started suffering with these nasty allergies Omg don't they make your eyes run, your nose itch and then someone gives you flowers, you smile politely say thank you then and dash for the antihistamines and a box of tissues lol

This was going to be a joint post with Starr but things went wrong so here I am suffering on my own..
