Pareidolia gone nuts? I was lucky that I still had the package of walnut halves that I'd bought for the "In Ice" theme (please see the first comment). So I thought I'd continue that story: a "brain", finally freed from the restrictions of its former ice skull housing – what would it do? I think it would begin to curiously discover its new world, discover its own intellect (without the interfering thoughts of its previous owner) – much like a child that grows up and gets more and more independent, and has an enormous hunger for knowledge, but also for mischief and fun :) My first idea was to make a pair of glasses for the brain / walnut; I thought I'd use jewellery wire for it, but then I looked at the small walnut halves and the thin wire, and thought: impossible! Unachievable! Too difficult for my clumsy hands! Well, I might have given it a (most likely unsuccessful) try, but went looking for nuts in the toolbox instead, nuts small enough to serve as eyes. So may I introduce you to Frankie, the brain that set out to conquer the macro world – but should adjust its eyes first :)

Die Muttern aller Kopfnüsse
So erschien mir dieses Thema zunächst – es erwies sich dann aber als erstaunlich leicht und schnell umsetzbar. Zum Glück hatte ich noch Walnüsse vom Thema "In Ice" übrig, und so dachte ich auch gleich daran, die Geschichte des "Gehirns" im Eisschädel (siehe ersten Kommentar) weiterzuspinnen. Was würde so ein Gehirn, plötzlich ganz auf sich allein gestellt, weil vom Eise, damit aber auch von den störenden Gedanken seines ehemaligen Besitzers befreit, wohl tun? Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es wie ein Kind seine neue Welt erkundet, wissbegierig und neugierig, dabei auch stets zum einen oder anderen Unfug bereit. Um also der Walnuss alias Hirn ein Gesicht zu geben, dachte ich daran, ihm / ihr eine Brille aus Schmuckdraht zu basteln. Je mehr ich aber überlegte, wie ich das wohl elegant anstellen könnte (z.B. unter Zuhilfenahme von Buntsstiften für die runde Gläserform), ohne mir dabei die Finger und gleich auch noch den Draht unrettbar zu verbiegen, desto lauter wurde der (gedankliche) Ruf nach einer einfacheren Lösung. Also habe ich den Werkzeugkasten nach möglichst kleinen Muttern als "Augen" durchstöbert – und wurde zum Glück fündig :) Darf ich also vorstellen: Frankie, das Hirn :)

An einem schönen Februar-Morgen warteten wir bei eiskaltem Wind unweit der Neckar-Quelle auf den Schwenninger Heizöl-Express. Der Villinger Hofhund alias 294 650 zieht hier den zweiten Teil als GAGC 60244 (Hausach - Rammelswiesen) gen Schwenningen.
… gab es am 11.09.2022 in Form von DeltaRail 143 001 alias 212 001. Mit Craftern am Haken ging es von Frankfurt (Oder) nicht wie gewohnt über Bad Bentheim nach Holland, sondern über die Hamm-Osterfelder Bahn nach Emmerich und weiter Richtung Niederlande. Bei sonnigen Wetter waren ein paar freudige Hobbyfotografen in Oberaden zu Stelle, um den Zug anzupassen. Leider ist seit Anfang 2021 der Förderturm „Haus Aden“ auch Geschichte, der Jahrelang als Wahrzeichen von Bergkamen-Oberaden, aber vorallending ein bekanntes Motiv bei der Eisenbahn.
Bei Alvaneu wurde die Bobo 1 alias Ge 4/4 I 605 mit GEX erwartet und konnte gerade noch so vor den ersten Quellwolken mit Sonne abgelichtet werden.

Der erste Tag in Norwegen war ganz den Krøderbanen, Norwegens längstem Museum gewidmet, da diese Museumsbahn nur an Sonntagen betrieben wird. Längstes Museum deshalb weil die Strecke zwischen Vikersund und Krøderen 26 km lang ist und komplett nur als Museumsbahn betrieben wird, wo auch die Bahnhöfe so gut es geht im Originalzustand erhalten werden und selbst die Streckeninstandhaltung ohne Maschinen erfolgt.
Hier sind die beiden im Einsatz befindlichen Fahrzeuge bei einer Zugbegegnung im Bahnhof Sysle zu sehen.
Da alle Dampfloks des Vereins zur Zeit nicht einsetzbar sind wurde eine Dampflok aus Schweden geliehen, dabei handelt es sich um die Type E2 der Schwedischen Staatsbahn (SJ) mit der Nummer 1122 Baujahr 1912 und zum anderen um den Dieseltriebwagen vom Typ BM 91H der Norwegischen Staatsbahn (NSB) mit der Nummer 91.02 Baujahr 1955.

Der Falklandkarakara, auch bekannt als Johnny Rook, ist eine Art der Geierfalken, die zu den Falkenartigen gezählt werden. Mit einer Verbreitung, die sich nur auf die Küsten der Falklandinseln sowie der vorgelagerten Inseln Feuerlands beschränkt, gehört er zu den seltensten Raubvögeln der Welt.
Die Allgäubahn verläuft von Trieblings bis etwa Bühl in unmittelbarerer Entfernung zum Alpsee. Hierbei macht die Strecke auch einen 90 Grad Bogen um vom Tal der Konstanzer Ache nach Immenstadt zu kommen. Von einem Rastplatz an der Staatsstraße 2006 oberhalb von Bühl hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den See und die Strecke. Am 08.05.2018 war dort 223 013 alias Bodo mit dem Alex nach München unterwegs.

When I first saw the new Star Wars buildable figures, I knew I had to build something with Obi-Wan's head. I love the details and colors. I hope there will be some more great heads in the coming years. Can we hope for a Rey head without the cloth and glasses? Or a Poe head without helmet? Until then I still have my Galidor heads ;)
