A magic color show up in my camera when I took this picture from the airplane on the way to Mongolia, I don't know what is it, but it's pretty. May be it's light reflection on the flight window glass and my Circular Polarizer Filter ??

Thank you for your visit and comment... Have a wonderful week my friends :)

Flight LH2513 from Birmingham to Munich 04.04.2018

Window: Waiting Room at Gate 59 Airport Birmingham International/GB

View: Aircraft Airbus A319 prepared for boarding

Background: My flight to Munich had been booked for the previous day, but was cancelled due to a general computer failure in Europe, which caused loss of data for European flight coordination. This was a nightmare, as we, the passengers were re-booked for the following day and after hours of misinformation and lack of service we finally got to know that those who were not able to return to their homes sround Birmingham had to stay overnight in a hotel to catch the first flight the next morning. It really was an adventure, which I had not experienced before although I am a frequent flyer.

This photo was not only taken for the group but also as a kind of ‘souvenir’ of this disastrous day !

Literally happening in as I stared in disbelief. Didn't happen with every plane, just seemingly random ones.

I had to while away two hours at Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne, waiting for my flight to Adelaide after flying over from Hobart. A month later, they announced direct flight between Adelaide and Hobart. Yippee!

On February 25th I made

Two days later there was a clear sky sunset again. The sky during the blue hour was even more blue. I made this improved version of almost the same picture.

A HUGE desert storage home for retired military aircraft in Tucson, Arizona. Unfortunately it is no longer open to the public, but one can take photographs through a chain link fence.

A black swallowtail landing over a zinnia, couldn't get another photo of her.

The Thunderbirds' performance was the highlight of the McConnell AFB Open House/Air Show in Wichita on September 9, 2018. . .The show was actually a two day affair, but the first day was very overcast, and the ceiling was too low for the Thunderbirds to fly. . .The second day was sunny, clear, and hot. . .As was the Thunderbirds' show. . .

Captured handheld with my 70-200mm lens and 2x Extender, the dramatic saturation of colour in this is not a result of editing. This is how it looked out of camera, aside from my usual editing regime, due to some wonderful back light and shading from the sun and clouds. Enjoy!
