Celle ci a une saveur tout à fait particulière puisque c'est enfin mon tout premier Martin 2020 , après m'être cassé les dents à plusieurs reprises sur mes spots habituels ces derniers temps , j'ai donc décidé de changer de tactique en exploitant d'autres endroits , armé d'une paire de jumelles j'ai cherché les indices m'indiquant ses lieux de pêche , et je suis tombé finalement sur une grosse branche de saule qui surplombe la rivière et c'est depuis cette branche que j'ai pu observer mon gaillard en action de pêche , ni une ni deux j'ai mis en place mon fameux mode opératoire habituel en fichant sur la berge un perchoir non loin de la branche et finalement ce matin là il est venu à deux reprises prendre possession de son tout nouveau plongeoir .

This one has a very special flavor since it's finally my very first Martin 2020, after having broken my teeth several times on my usual spots lately, so I decided to change tactics by exploiting 'other places, armed with a pair of binoculars I looked for clues indicating its fishing grounds, and I finally came across a large willow branch overlooking the river and it is from this branch that I I was able to observe my fellow fishing, neither one nor two I set up my famous usual operating mode by tying a perch on the bank not far from the branch and finally that morning he came twice to take possession of its brand new diving board.

Female Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) named "Satka" - born 3/29/14 in Mulhouse, France and now living in the Asian Cat habitat of the San Diego Zoo. Satka and her partner Oskar have two female cubs born 4.5.18. Amur Leopards are the rarest big cat on earth. Conservation Status: Critically Endangered

Cette chapelle funéraire fut érigée à Beuvry au lieu dit Le Quesnoy à la demande de Henri Joseph Aimé Gosse de Gorre ( 1760- 1851). Il y sera inhumé, avec deux de ses épouses et son gendre. Ces corps ont été exhumés, il y a quelques années et enterrés au cimetière de Beuvry. Alors abandonnée, la chapelle subit les pillages, le vandalisme et les injures du temps qui en ont fait une ruine envahie par la végétation.
La chapelle a été rachetée en 2012 par la Municipalité de Beuvry.
En mai 2013, M. Claude Jouet et Edouard Musial ont entrepris la restauration de ce monument bénévolement.

Sunset and reflection captured from Barassie Beach in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The shifting sandbanks often create these slowly emptying pools as the tide goes out on the beach at Barassie. I captured this handheld at arms length with some much practiced blind aiming.
The sun setting over the Isle of Arran is one of the most beautiful benefits of living in this part of the world.

A slightly different perspective on one of the Elegug stacks. From here it looks like an needle, or the "aim point" at the end of a rifle!
The light was very strange here on this evening and the colours were fabulous. An enchanting place to be, all alone with a camera! In the spring this stack is full of nesting seabirds, particularly Guillemots and Elegug is the Welsh word for that species.
