Ahmedabad has these interesting little by-lanes- tiny streets/passageways- barely7 feet wide. on either side rise old homes- with the most intricate woodwork you will ever see! and people live in these! this is a detail on one of those walls.

Came across some interesting murals on the walls of Satellite Road.
If I am not wrong, most of the murals are fairly new.. added to the walls of Ahmedabad last year, as part of the city’s 600th birthday celebrations! They are not only beautiful and eye-catching, but some of them carry a wonderful message as well, presented in a creative way.
This one's my favorite.. looks so simple and funny, but has a strong message!
