I was brought to visit families of students from the nearby school. It's an privilege to be able to see up close how people live in Ahmedabad. I had wanted to take pictures of the people and places but were too polite to ask. It turns out that I don't have to because everybody wanted their pictures taken.

This was a typical bearing shop along a dusty road. The better shops had glass cases and packaged bearings but this guy had the lowest prices.Note the Tata brand label on the upper shelf. This company is an industrial juggernaut that produces everything including cars,trucks buses, phones, textiles most tea, supplies outsourcing tech workers,hydro,ISP's,cell service and on.... Remember the name because they are going international.
