The Ahl Fas Mosque, located in the Royal Palace complex (Dar al-Makhzen) in Rabat, Morocco, is a place of worship that represents the intersection between religious practice and the country's political power. Commissioned in the 18th century by the Alawite Sultan Mohammed ben Abdallah, the mosque has undergone several renovations and remains an important center, where the king delivers the sermon at Friday and Eid prayers. It is characterized by traditional architecture, including a series of arcades and a quadrangular minaret covered with tiles, typical elements of the masters of Fez, a tribute to their artisanal heritage. Located in Méchouar Square, which is used for large official ceremonies, the mosque and palace are restricted-access spaces, reflecting the demarcation between public life and the private areas of the royal house, ensuring both the security and functionality of national rituals and events.
Stagecoach West Scotland operated Scania K230UB ADL Enviro300 YN64 AHL - 28697 - is pictured leaving Buchanan Bus Station with a service on route 4.
This vehicle wears the 2020 Stagecoach Local livery and has since been displaced from route 4 by newer vehicles. First it was some Volvo BZLs and then some ADL E200MMCs started showing up but now the route is operated with Yutong E12s with BZLs filling any slots unable to be occupied by Yutongs.

The Leyland Tiger was a heavyweight half-cab single-decker bus and coach chassis built by Leyland Motors between 1927 and 1968, except during the period of World War II. The 1945 Tiger PS1 was an entirely new design from the previous Tiger TS series, featuring a new E181 7.4-litre six-cylinder engine with push-rod valve operation and a brand new four-speed ‘crash-box’.
AHL 694
was bodied by Barnaby coach-working and completed in February 1947. One of only four PS1’s bodied by the company, only half of those numbers still believed to survive today. Bodied with the 35F (35 seat front entrance) half-cab configuration, the bus has retained its original registration ‘AHL 694’. Supplied new to J. Bullocks & Sons Ltd of Featherstone, Yorkshire, the bus was then passed to West Riding Transport in a 1950’s takeover of the company, staying in active service until sometime in the 1970s. The Tiger entered preservation in 1999 being rebuilt and restored during the early 2000s with much of the frame restored or replaced, attention to the running gear, rewiring, and interior retrimming. It subsequently entered the ownership before the vendor, with the bus becoming a tour operator at Greenway House, the home of author Agatha Christie. Regularly completing the tour route from Torquay to Dartmouth
Since this photo it changed hands in 2018 and was offered for auction sale by H + H Auctioneers 25th November 2020

Åhléns. Pretty much 30 kilometres from my door to this spot on the Skanstull bridge. It usually takes me around ninety minutes to get here on any bike. Looks like a fine Summer day today. The city will be jam packed with people as the annual pride parade gets under way in a few hours time. And later in the afternoon Sveavägen will be filled with classic cars, and I might head that way then.
