Road Agent was the first rear engine show car built by Ed Roth. It was powered by a Chevrolet Corvair engine mated to an inverted Corvair transmission. The chassis was built up from chrome-molybdenum tubing and fitted with a 1937 Ford suspension modified to accept a Volkswagen torsion bar. Its wild shape, mod colors, and aggressive look helped draw attention to the car and Road Agent was featured on the cover of the April 1964 Rod & Custom magazine. Such publicity kept Roth in the public consciousness and assured a brisk demand for his merchandise.

The shop assistants' arranging the Agent Provacateur window installation stopped a passer-by in her tracks -- double-take and the belated photograph herewith.
This photo was inspired by the movie "Hitman." The movie is about Agent 47--a contract, stealth assassin whose signature weapon is a pair of AMT Hardballer handguns with silencers. Unlike the movie, I added my own little twist to the choice of weaponry--my Canon lens. With this powerful weapon, I can fire from close or long range with accuracy and precision.

Police form lines at both ends of the street in front of the U.S. Justice Department in Washington, D.C., sealing off 3,000 demonstrators prior to their arrest May 4, 1971.
The arrest of Echo—John Froines: (at the Justice Department May 4, sought on a warrant for conspiracy blocking traffic on May 3):
“Echo is saying he came here not to surrender but to be protected by his people,” one agent reported over FBI radio.
“Well, we want him,” crackled a reply from the field office.
“The package is wearing a green and red striped shirt--definitely a sport shirt, green and red vertical stripes,” one reported.
“He is crossing the street toward a green parked car, with his arm around a man wearing a suede jacket and a straw hat.”
“The package is now moving east toward the flagpole,” the agent reported later. “He is standing south of the flagpole talking to a man with a bald head. He is still with the man with the suede coat and the straw hat.”
“To All Units, anyone with any knowledge of Echo, go to the middle of the block…The word from the P.D. is that they’re going to pinch in from both ends of the block and lock them up. They’re moving now. He’ll be trying to slip out while they’re arresting others.”
“What are the chances of pushing him in through the truck entrance?”
“We have him. We have him. We have him.”
“Good let’s keep him.”
Froines was whisked away and later taken before US Magistrate Arthur L. Burnett. Burnett told Froines of the charges against him and set a bond of $10,000, with a 10 percent deposit—meaning that Echo would be freed if he could post $1,000 in cash.
Frones later posted bond and was released.
The second day of an attempt to shut down the government began with several hundred briefly attempting to block traffic in the area south of Dupont Circle. Vastly outnumber by police, the effort was quickly broken up.
Several thousand, however, gathered at Franklin Park at 14th & I NW at noon and marched to the Justice Department to emphasize the second Mayday demand—that all political prisoners be freed. Police sealed off both ends of the block and arrested over 3,000, bring the arrest total over two days to more than 10,000.
