My bicycle was stolen this week. I am not letting it get me down and fortunately came upon a really great deal on this lightly used Affinity 212 frame set. The frame is gorgeous and light as a feather. I am looking forward to building this up during the winter here in NYC. I'll be posting updates here and on Bikeforums.net.

After nearly a month of being too busy to fly I took a couple of hours off to go hiking, and took my drone along. It’s now late spring (or early summer) and the trees at Glen Major Forest are in full leaf. The undergrowth is still fairly sparse (not that you can tell from above the canopy).
The raking sunlight of Golden Hour really brings out the contours of the forest, which are mostly invisible when you’re among the trees. (You can see local ups and downs, but not a pattern.)
This High Dynamic Range 360° aerial panorama was stitched from 42 bracketed photographs with PTGUI Pro, tone-mapped with Photomatix, processed with Color Efex, and touched up in Affinity Photo and Aperture.

These people are good! They provided the dance music for the wedding that we attended last Saturday night. The bass player, on the right and the band leader and lead singer, in the center, are long-time friends of ours. We had the pleasure of being introduced to their new female singer. I loved her voice. The guitar player, over on the left, has a very high tenor voice that really sings out.
