Generated the HDRs using photomatix and tonemapped with detail enhancer.
In Photoshop,
Blended tonemapped 0 EV shot to get details of the sky.
Blended tonemapped +2 EV shot to get rid of artifacts in the ocean.
Applied lens correction filter for both HDRs.
Manually merged the HDRs in photoshop to make this vertorama.
Increased brightness/contrast.
Changed colours red, yellow and magenta.
Contracted the levels.
Manipulated the curves to give me a minute 'c' curve.
Sharpen the image using smart sharpen.

The weather has been so unpredictable lately. I managed to get this shot right before it rained heavily.

Here is a shot of something different other than sunsets. I found this thin 'jungle' when I was out scouting for a place to shoot.
Shot RAW with 3 different exposures (-2,0,+2 EV).

Increased brightness/contrast.
Contracted the levels.
Manipulated the curves to give me 'c' curve.
Boosted saturation a little bit.
Sharpen the image using smart sharpen.
Then added sun rays to the final image.
We are going to have a long weekend this week. I am looking forward to enjoy my weekend ;)

I had been struggling with the context of Abundance ever since my husband and I came back from Money & You®. I had been communicating to my husband that my way of being didn't reflect a world of Abundance that is out there. I was being scarce. Last week I told him that I was sick of being scarce, I had enough of experiencing scarcity and that I wanted to experience Abundance in my life.
My husband helped me to find the root of my issue that cause me to feel scarce for my whole life. You can read about it here.

Here is a macro shot of tiny yellow flowers that I promised last week. I shot this flowers in the morning. They could be a lot more except that grass cutter came yesterday and they cut most of them. So only a few left for me to take my shot.

I had forgotten the thrill of holding my camera and just shoot what I feel like shooting. I had only been out twice to take shots of my most favourite scene since August this year. Man oh Man! Time flies so darn fast!
I was on my way home after work when I saw bright orange cloud covered some parts of the sky. I persuaded myself to just go as soon as I could to our famous beach in Tutong instead of heading home. I arrived just in time. The sun was still quite high and I walked on the beach to look for suitable subject to shoot.
I was surprised by how 'clean' the beach looked today. I saw a few tree trunks but they didn't inspire me. I did shoot one but I was not happy with the outcome. I took a break, I sat on another tree trunk and just enjoyed the magnificent view before my eyes. I was right when I told myself that the sunset was going to be an intense one. The colour of the sunset was a mixture of orange and dark red.
I packed my bag and ready to leave. On my way going back to my car, I saw a few moments that I would describe as Glorious moments. The image above is one of them.

Twenty years ago my father divorced my mother and took off to marry our Filipino amah to create a new life for himself.
After I got back from the Landmark Forum, it was on the day of Chinese New Year that I sent my father a text message. I wrote that for all these years, I had blamed him for divorcing my mom. My interpretations of what happen were he didn't love her anymore and he didn't love us. But I have come to realize that we had nothing to do with him divorcing my mom. I had never thank him for raising us.
I apologized for blaming him and I apologized for causing him pain. I acknowledge that he has done his best to raise all of us. I love him and I wish him happiness with his current wife and his children.
In the same afternoon, I got to see him when he visited my sister's house. I greeted him and I embraced him. Sitting next to him was his current wife. When I embraced her, I acknowledge that she is simply my father's wife.
I am finally at peace with myself and my father. I felt relief that I got to say what I wanted to say to him.
Sunday last week, I visited my father for first time at his home after attending the Landmark Forum. I found the love for my father that I thought was lost a long time ago. What I didn’t expect from the visit was that I had come to love his family as well.
In the living room where my husband and I sat down with my father and his family, I saw that my father was happy with his current family. I am happy for my father for creating and living the life that he wanted. I love my father for being my father, I love his wife for being his wife and I love their 3 children for being their children. I love them for being who they are and who they are not. I didn’t think loving my father’s current family was possible for me, and I am glad that I was wrong. The possibility that I have invented for myself and my life is the possibility of being unconditionally loving to each and everyone of them.

Good Day everyone! Today is A Beautiful Day! ;)
Last two weeks, I mentioned that my husband and I attended Money & You® Programme. A week after that I finally summoned the Courage to put my images online with the purpose of selling them.
I have been wanting to sell my images ever since I had become quite good at photography and post-processing my images. I had people who expressed interest in buying my images and when I told them my price, they lost interest and did not purchase my images. Because of that experience, I made that mean that my price was too expensive, or they don't think my images were worth it, that they don't appreciate my work, to the extend that I am not good enough, which is why they reject me. Imagine what those thoughts do to me (my mind, body and soul) and my self-esteem! And because of those beliefs that I adopted, I became self-conscious and I had begun questioning about my ability as a photographer. Then when I was in a crowd of people, I didn't want to tell them that I was a photographer and that I have my images up for sale! If I did, I would feel so uncomfortable about it. Then I met other people who expressed interest, then I told them my price, then they didn't buy, then I got upset again, then I made up more beliefs that reinforced my earlier belief about me not being good enough. I was in this vicious cycle for more than 2 years.
To be honest, before The Landmark Forum, I resented rejections. I did not handle rejections very well. I hated when people reject me, reject what I do and reject who I am.
It was after The Landmark Forum, that now I see and I got clear the beliefs that I adopted are made up by me and those beliefs are not true and that they are not real. What happened and is still happening is that there are people express their interest in my images, then I told them the price and they do not buy my images. Now, with new perspective in mind, I keep in my mind that is what happened. It does not mean my images are expensive, it does not mean my images do not worth the price that I set, it does not mean people do not appreciate my work, it does not mean I am not good enough and finally it does not mean that they reject me.
Once I separate what is happening and what are my beliefs of what is happening, it was like I was seeing the world for the first time. The feeling is pretty much like Being Born again!
Now, do still I hate rejections? After I went through The Landmark Forum, I do not hate it as much as I did. I began to accept that no just means no. It does not mean anything other than no. It has no impact on who I was. I also began to accept what happens is what happens and separated that from my interpretations out my beliefs. Because whatever beliefs that I had about what happen are made up by me.
There are times when I am not aware of mixing what happen and what are my beliefs about what happen. When this happens, most of the time I get depressed about Life and when I catch myself doing this to me, then I get to choose whether I want to be unhappy, depressed and feeling unsatisfied for the rest of my life OR do I want to be Happy, Joyful and Alive? It is not a one time thing, but once I am aware when I am being unhappy and even depressed then I know that I have disempowering beliefs. When I choose Being Empowered, I let go of the disempowering beliefs and I create new possibilities. I do this all the time. I am practicing what I learned from The Landmark Forum.

I am sending an assignment on abstract. I was struggling at first when I shot this. Finally I found a pleasant angle and edited it in Adobe Photoshop. I already googled it but I still haven't manage to find what is the name of this seed. This seed is from some kind of pine trees that grew in my country.

My sister, her husband, my nephew, my brother, my husband and I went to a swimming pool playground for kids. I was ready to take shots of my nephew and I was so cautious not to get my camera wet.
My first born nephew came close to me whenever I took pictures of him. So while he was playing with water, he shows his teeth, probably trying to taste the water on his lip with his tongue.
He is so Adorable. I am completely In Love With Him!
Here is a note: My husband and I are flying off to Kuala Lumpur this Thursday. We will be attending another course for three and a half days. It looks very intensive. We probably won't have much time for sightseeing. But I'll bring my camera bag along with me. I'll see you guys when I get back from KL Monday Next Week!

I am experiencing a lot of Love and Support from acquaintances that I have known from The Landmark Forum and also Money & You Programme.
This week I chose to share with them a part of my past that I swore to keep to myself until the day I die. I didn't tell anyone about it, not even my husband until the night when I realized that I was suffering from this past of mine. As consequence, I had lived life with fears, doubts and also insecurities for my whole life.
I was scared of letting other people know about my past. And I have come to realize that by keeping it to myself, it wouldn't do any good to me. So I chose to share it with a group of people who I allow to Love and Support me. What I didn't expect was that they give so much Love and Support that I am moved by their generosity in acknowledging me for sharing my past.
I feel all the Love, all the Support and I am Loving it. I told a very dear friend of mine that I felt like I was a superstar that day. I am very happy to let you know that I have let go of that past and I am moving on with life. Now I believe that I have found my purpose in life.

I shot a lot of colour images ever since I got my hands on my first DSLR, Canon EOS 450D. Last week, while waiting to break our fast, I got ready with my camera and told my husband that this time I wanted to shoot in B&W. So we set up our little studio in the living room. We opened the door, covered the door with a long white cloth and a white carpet on the floor prior our model laid on it. This shot was made using only available lights, sunlight coming from the opened door and also lighting in the living room.
I apologize for my absence in flickr. I am currently busy preparing myself for the end of my employment contract which is next year. I look forward to it ever since the start of this year.

I had A GREAT time with my husband and Jan Hasselberg yesterday afternoon! We brought him to visit two tombs of our historic sultans, Taman Jubilee which is looking good now, Tasek Lama, outside of our Brunei and Maritime Museums and the surrounding area and we ended up having a Marvelous steamboat at Mangrove Paradise Resort.
Just before we dropped off Jan at the resthouse after our dinner, he gave me a Beautiful Gift, a necklace that he acquired when he stayed in Papua New Guinea. I of course will take a picture of it so I get to show you guys how it looks like.
I have a few images that I shot of Jan and my husband. I put them into a mini album here.
Jan is leaving early this morning to go for his trip to Kota Kinabalu. He is going to climb Mount Kinabalu just like what my husband and I did in April 2010. We also visited Poring Hot Spring where I shot Mamut Stream. I hope he gets to visit and have fun while relaxing here.
I dedicate Angel's Wings for Jan, I hope that you get to climb to the top of Mount Kinabalu. When you do then you also join the rest of the world who did. I wish the GREAT SPIRIT is always by your side.

I did not get to shoot the small flower that I had in my mind last week. However, I was surprised when this gentleman was willing to become my model for a day. We had fun shooting and this is one of the best shots that I got yesterday.

In early March 2010, I was walking at the beach with my husband. I brought along my camera with me. At that time, I had been in photography for just a little bit more than a year. In a year, I have learned a lot on my own and also from the photography course that I took. I learned a few new things from other photographers when it comes to composing and processing images. I have also learn that I would like to find my own Style and Touch with processing my landscape images. What I have got now is that I Love creating Bold and Bright sunset images!

There is no story to accompany this image. I shot the scenery, I processed them in photoshop and then uploaded it here.
After I posted A World of Abundance three weeks ago, I asked BND200 from the universe. I said, " I want an extra of BND200 on top of my current income by the end of June 2011". And Amazingly I got it. I was surprised by how easy it was for me to get that BND200.
Previously, it was a struggle for me to ask money from the universe. You can read about it here. Now, I find it easy for me to visualize my own world of abundance. It is so Breathtaking. It Inspires me and the most important thing is I Believe in what I visualize. I have no doubt about it. It is so Absolute.
