Las condiciones no fueron las mejores, pero la buena mesa no nos la quitó ni cristo
A Zebra swallowtail butterfly in flight. They are called swallowtails because they have long "tails" on their hindwings which look a bit like the long, pointed tails of swallows (a type of bird). The caterpillar's first meal is its own eggshell. After that, the caterpillars eat the pawpaw (Asimina triloba). .
Butterflies can only sip liquid food using a tube-like proboscis, which is a long, flexible "tongue." This proboscis uncoils to sip food, and coils up again into a spiral when not in use. .

Photos taken a week ago on a very cold overcast day at Kansas City Union Station after the Kansas City Chiefs football team won the American Football Conference. They will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers later today in the Super Bowl hoping to win it again after winning last year for the first time in 50 years. Sorry for so many photos of this. A fun time for the city win or lose.
SUPER BOWL UPDATE: Unfortunately our Chiefs lost to the Tampa Buccaneers. Still a great year. Big congrats to Tampa Bay. Hopefully the Chiefs will make it back again.
