A year ago, a new impressive mural was created in Liepāja!
In September 2024 world-renowned French street artist Aéro completed his artwork at 56 Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street. His mural became part of the Liepāja mural route, which has become an integral part of the city's summer charm.
🔹Aéro, known for his works across France, is sharing a story about childhood dreams and their fragility with the people and visitors of Liepāja. His murals encourage everyone to stop, reflect, and find deeper meanings in everyday surroundings.

Many poorly performing products aren't the fault of engineers or designers but of conflicting requirements. The original design of the Aero Buggy was for a slick, aerodynamic vehicle which would cut through the vacuum of space in a fuel efficient manner. Then the requirement for it to climb the steep walls of lunar craters was added and so the "monster truck" style running gear was added.
Despite this, the Aero Buggy proved popular amongst spacemen. This was due to its smooth ride over rough terrain and its windscreen, which kept the moon dust off the driver.

7415: Aero Nomad
So I had a bit of free time today, meaning I could start work on the Everest set series.
I have a lot of fond memories of this set. It's one of the first Orient Expedition sets I bought and I bought it during a family trip to Legoland Windsor.
I wanted a bit more of a unique design for this revamp. Not so much of a generic hot air balloon design. The idea of multiple air bags seemed more appealing and a bit more heavy duty for a journey to Mount Everest.
The Lowell sphere has been used again, there's just something so handy about that technique. There aren't any nets on mecabricks, so I had to fashion my own by merging multiple rubber bands.
Eagled eyed viewers have probably spotted that there's and extra minifigure in this set revamp. It's Harry Cane!
I felt like it was only right to add him in for this final Adventure (plus he's been in every previous hot air balloon set as well and it felt like blasphemy not to include him).
I'll be sorry to see the end of the Morgan Aero 8 line. I thought for sure it would outlive me
