I have volunteered at a large local animal shelter for the past 20 years, mostly taking photos of cats for the adoptables website. I usually don't put any of those photos here, but once in a while a special cat comes along who will give you a smile. Oliver came to us a couple months ago after his owner died. He was so frightened that the hid under the towel in his cage. So he went to foster care for a few weeks and now he's back in his own little room -and we have discovered Oliver's secret. This is the look most cats get when begging for treats. But this is what Oliver does when he sees a brush!

Ok, this little girl has just about the cutest face you'll ever see. My daughter snapped this photo when she was playing with her at Toronto Animal Services. Sabrina was born to her mom (a stray) in foster care and is 8 weeks old.
I doubt it will take long for her to get adopted!
Her mom Kris also needs a home =)

A visit to Petco and saw this 6 month old kitten as big as Kewpie. Soon as she saw me, she went on her back, playful and not a single scratch on my hand. I instantly fell in love with her. Peppy has gotten much older and not as playful. Kewpie needs a playmate. I may just adopt her this weekend :) I love that name, "Daisy" fits her properly and love her fur markings and her character really reminded me of Mochi. Stay tuned folks :)
