San Francisco de Asis Mission Church in Ranchos De Taos. We watched workers repairing the building with adobe mud and straw. That was very interesting.

These are photos from the customer appreciation night that Adobe held on the Tuesday during the MAX conference. The theme was a winter wonderland. You can see in a couple photos the little ice cubes they had that light up. I still have a few of them.
Overly restored adobe: the history recounted by the docent, whose family has lived in this historical town many generations was much more interesting than the cutesy restoration. He told is when Polonia Montanez lived her there were no windows! She was a leader in her time-- very usual at the time for a woman --and a healer sought out by many.
