Cooper-Molera Adobe was home to three generations of Coopers. Built in the 1820s and remodeled many times until 1900, it now houses a visitor center with a shop full of old-time treasures. Don't miss its historic garden.

Ready for repair work. Bent's Old Fort is the only completely rebuilt fort in the national park system. The other forts have been restored or otherwise repaired from existing foundations, frames and even whole buildings.
As a result, Bent's has some adobe expertise.
Wow - our day at the Alhambra. This was without a doubt one of the most amazing and beautiful places I've ever been; every bit as cool as the books and TV programs made it out to be. I started with WeatherGirl in the Alcazar (the military end of the complex), zoomed through the public baths, hiked out to Generalife (the royal gardens), and ended in the Nasrid palaces (the palaces of the Muslim rulers, and the most famous parts of the Alhambra). An amazing, overloading, hot, sweaty, wonderful day. Whew.
