Winner: Ricardo Dominguez, Country Representative, Colombia (Accepting - Randy Lyness)
Ricardo demonstrated admirable leadership skills as the ANDA Program Manager overseeing the successful closeout of the $29 million six-year program and as Country Representative following the passing of former Country Director, John Forman. He worked with his team of about 40 staff to develop an exit strategy that fortified the program’s achievements in each of the program’s components, ensuring sustainability. Ricardo also became responsible for business development to enable Global Communities to continue in Colombia. Additionally, he provided emotional support and guidance to the team during this stressful year, all the while maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to support Global Communities in any way possible.
