The Supreme Court in America has been doing some evil sketchy things these past few days. They've reduced peoples' rights after possible police brutality if they weren't read their Miranda Rights. In the midst of a surge in gun violence across the country they've made it harder to enforce gun safety laws throughout the country and today they may be overturning Roe. In the midst of this, some states have already started the process to ban birth control, specifically at this time IUDs and the morning after pill. The extreme need to control a woman's body and give guns more rights than a woman in my country is terrifying. Meanwhile, the supreme court justices have been granted far greater protections after a couple of protests than Anita Hill or Christine Blasey Ford ever were.

While I was uploading a lot of new photos of Street Art and Graf Kam the Alien in the disguise of the gorgeous mannequin Kathleen appeared in my studio. I was startled.I had not seen her in some time. I asked her why she had been away so long and she told me that her previous adventures, especially the Love/Death, had exhausted her and she needed time to herself. She said she had been doing a lot of reading. Somehow she seemed changed. She was more subdued.
Then she said that she had made plans to be at the Underground/Overground opening at the Artbreak Gallery on June 7th. She said that she would go in a new disguise and that not even I would be able to recognize her. So if any of you are planning to attend be warned that somewhere in the crowd will be Kam the Alien. I asked her why in the world she wanted to go to an art opening of all things? I said she did not seem the least bit interested in art. She said that she was interested in seeing what I had been up to. I told her that was very nice but not to try to pull any of her tricks.
Then she told me the real reason she had been gone so long. She was pregnant and that she was going to have a baby. She said that she would not think of having an abortion. That really shocked me. How could a store mannequin have a baby? Even if she had animated and inhabited the mannequin , how could such a thing be possible? She said that it was true and that she was making sure that the new baby got the best nutrition possible. I asked her how she even could know that the child would be human and not some kind of grotesque monster. She said that she had checked that out and the baby was human and that I was the father. I did not doubt that. I asked her what an Alien who was a fiery ball of energy with a brain was going to do with a human baby ? She said that she was going to settle down in the body of Kathleen the mannequin and bring up the child in a wholesome environment here on earth. She also said that I would be with her as she would create another Replicant of me and that was that. I asked her if the child would have any trace of the Alien creature and she said yes, of course. If the child chose to be an Alien she could morph into one at any time. She imagined, however that the child would prefer to be a human. She would not tell me the sex of the baby.
I asked her if that meant the end of all of her wild adventures and she said yes, at least for a while. She wanted to have the baby first . After that she said she had a lot of new ideas.
Then she said she had to get back to the mother ship because she needed to take care of herself. And then she was gone.
I was sure that she would not want want to wait the normal nine months to have the baby and that somehow she would accelarate the time frame. I still don't know why she wanted to have a baby . I guess I had a lot to learn about Kam. I did know that when a woman gives birth a lot of the libidinal energy gets transferred from the father to the child . I wondered if that was going to happen? If it did Kam was in the process of becoming human. I wondered if she would be aware of that. Stay tuned.

I had to stop and ask for a picture. I think she was even happier to have someone to talk to. Having two kids of my own, she was happy to hear about them. I thanked her for allowing me to photograph her praying and wished her well on her quest.

Pro-choice and pro-life, it's all just politics. Meanwhile, I don't wish to anyone to go through abortion. It's a horrible experience. And you may - like me - never get over it. If there is a hope for you, if there is another option, please take it. I'm not a hypocrite who has no idea what she's talking about. Nor a man who will never get pregnant. No, I know. Time goes by, and it's been almost 6 years, but time doesn't cure the pain.
I don't even have the sonogram pictures. How I wish I had that at least.

We're really starting to see evidence of men trying to take complete control over womens' bodies...In Arkansas and Oklahoma right now, even a rapist has rights over a conceived child through that act of sadistic violence.
A new Texas law takes this one step farther and encourages Drs to lie to pregnant females regarding when/if their babies will be born with disabilities...the republicans are trying to hide behind the idea that this is for the rights of people with disabilities but it's easy to see when they fund prisons over public schools that they really don't care about kids with disabilities or kids in poverty or minorities at all. They aren't pro life...they are pro death only the long con way.
After all, the GOP's own Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos didn't even know about the federal law protecting individuals with disabilities in education. Their plan is to force women to deliver these children and then offer no support for these women and children. Seems like great family values to me!
The fact of the matter is that making abortion illegal and/or nearly impossible will just mean that mothers and fetuses or newly born babies die dramatic painful deaths. And keeping birth control accessible to everyone is in the public's best interest.
This new Trumpcare abomination calls for defunding Planned Parenthood. I wonder how long before there's a bill out there trying to prevent women from voting.
