I brought my camera inside Mahoney's Nursery when I bought some flowers this afternoon. Abby was in her bed on the customer service counter, and had been roused by incoming customers. She kindly looked at the camera for a few photos before going back to sleep. She later arose and hid under a display table when delivery people made a ruckus.
Lyn was walking Abby this morning at the park. She was very gracious and agreed to let me take some photos of them together. Abby is 1 1/2, full of energy and such a sweetheart. I am so grateful that people agree to let me photograph them but don't want to take more time than necessary and be an inconvenience to them. Of course, I love the back-light but I think I need to carry a flash to get sharper images. I want to carry a small set-up though so I don't seem too intimidating. This challenge is going to teach me a lot.
I stopped at Mahoney's Garden Center today, and brought my camera inside, hoping to find Abby. She lives at the store, and can usually be found at the customer service desk or underneath a nearby display table.
Abby may look like a sourpuss, but she's very nice. She likes to spend her days at the greeting counter at Mahoney's Nursery in Winchester, Massachusetts.
The beautiful Abby Hill Farms all decked out for the harvesting of those gorgeous pumpkins! Such a fun spot to spend an afternoon for all ages!
My daughter was visiting with her ridgeback, Kamali. Abby was very cautious about making friends with this monster.
