The moon is starting to rise behind Boeing 747-428 TF-AAK at Cotswold Airport.
This aircraft was used by Iron Maiden for their "Book of Souls" World Tour, and was christened "Ed Force One".
Ive been listening to them for 37 years now,

First flown in Dec-90, this aircraft was delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-BXG in Jan-91. It was sold to a lessor, re-registered EI-CDC and leased back to Aer Lingus.
It was returned to the lessor in Jan-05 and leased to Air Baltic as YL-BBH the following month. It was fitted with Blended Winglets in Mar-10 and returned to the lessor in Jun-11. The aircraft was sold to Goiana Leasing and leased to Aerosvit Airlines (Ukraine) as UR-AAK the following day.
Aerosvit ceased operations in Feb-13 and the lease was transferred to Ukraine International Airways the next day. The aircraft was re-registered UR-GBE in Apr-13. It was returned to the lessor in Sep-15, sold to Open Investments as G-UMAR and stored at Bucharest-Baneasa (Romania).
The aircraft was leased to Oryx Jet, a UK executive aviation specialist, in Jul-16 and stored at Luton. Oryx Jet didn't operate it and it remained stored until it was was returned to the lessor in Jan-17 and again stored at Bucharest-Baneasa.
It was leased to Maleth Aero AOC Ltd as 9H-MAC in Jun-17, painted in an executive livery and operated on behalf of Oryx Jet (UK) in a C68 or Y100 seat configuration. The operation was taken over by Comlux Malta in Nov-21. Now 33 years old, it continues in service. Updated 01-Nov-23.
