Upper Sunwapta Falls, on the Sunwapta River, a major tributary of the Athabasca, just off the Icefields Parkway of the Canadian Rockies. The falls have a drop of about 18.5 metres (61 feet). Sunwapta is a Stoney language word that means "turbulent water".

I made four trips over 6 years before I found these boilers. One trip was a big adventure. Such a tight site that photography was difficult. A remote and beautiful canyon with mostly steady water.
