Great photo opportunity, but the evening had the horrid Tucson AZ haze/dust even so the comet shown through. This image is 33 x 1.6 sec captured with a Nikon Z8 and a Nikon FX 105 mm F1.4 lens, stationary tripod, this is a great wide lens for this type of photography,
Fading quickly, it is now a great telescopic comet that fits well the field of view of telescopes. High in the sky the comet now has a scenic star background. These images were captured with a Vixen VSD telescope and a Nikon Z8 camera. Each image is three minutes integration of ten second subs. Captured in Tucson AZ.
Imaged in Tucson AZ using a Nikon Z8 and a Nikon F1.4 105 mm FX lens with adapter. The comet faded quickly at full Moon and as it is fading comet colors are emerging.

The loco was withdrawn a year later, in June 1964, and scrapped in August. Only one example survived into preservation.
The signal box was demolished in summer 1976, and today (2022) these tracks are all electrified..
