This was a beautiful cactus dahlia, which caught my eye, in a magnificent display of dahlias, at Newby Hall, Ripon, Yorkshire.

**** I am pretty sure this is a Male Reed Bunting . They are about the same size as a sparrow and quite attractive birds. This was taken On Midsummers day 2018 in the trees that lead to the cliffs at RSPB Bempton in East Yorkshire

Nidderdale.The photo was taken from a view point at Brimham Rocks.

It had been a really dull day, so when the grey clouds parted for a few minutes this scene exploded into view!

A lot of water in this popular Yorkshire waterfall.

Bempton Cliffs, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and October to raise a family on towering chalk cliffs which overlook the North Sea. RSPB

The photo was taken near Pateley Bridge.The path runs by the side of the river Nidd.
