For the Macro Mondays theme: "Egg".
Macroview of fried egg yolk. Never knew it was so beautiful while eating this ;-))
This was my test photo for this week's Macro Mondays, an uncooked egg yolk nestled in a white saucer to give the appearance of the albumen being fully cooked. Not the best of the various egg photos I took but I liked it.
This week I have learned that an uncooked egg yolk is not an easy subject and outside in the heat an egg yolk soon starts to cook.
I am desperately trying to refrain from egg puns......
HMM!
Macro Mondays: Egg
Lovely folk music that kind of reminds me of a lot of different bands depending on who is singing-sometimes The Go Betweens and other times when Caity Shaffer sings I am reminded of another place and time altogether. Her voice is so sweet.
Have a listen:

a tiny hole in the egg is as good as an escape hatch for the yolk. Left with an empty egg, thanks Macro Mondays for making it worth something 😊...brown hen egg.

The other night was all about the clouds... and before you go spouting off that "he's embellished that" and "there's no way he saw it like this", yes of course! On both accounts however, my motto is, 'if you gots some dramatic cloud business happening in the old sky, why not turn up the volume on that dramaticism to eleven (ala Nigel)'. Ha! Well, more of a mantra-of-the-moment type-thing but, whatever.
A four-frame pano, stitched in Hugin. It ain't perfect, due to the passing highway traffic on the right. Nonetheless, ta da! Here it is!
Happy Faux-Cloud Friday! HFF
Three days ago I had double yolks and today I crack an egg and get doubles again! How does this happen twice in a row? Should I go buy a lottery ticket? LOL
See first set in comments.
If Egg is broken by outside force, life ends. If broken by inside force, life begins.
Great things always begin from inside.
Looking close... on Friday! theme Round
I'm reduced to taking pictures of my food it seems!! LOL Actually this was taken for the group 52Frames (a group outside of Flickr). The challenge put out by that group this past week was "food" and this was how I answered the challenge.
I want to take time to thank all my well wishers these past few days and assure everyone that I am now almost totally recovered. This covid was so mild, if it weren't for intuition I don't think I would ever have bothered getting tested because it was so similar to a bad cold. Much easier than the last covid episode in 2021! Have a wonderful day everyone. Today babysitting the grandbaby resumes and I can't wait to see her little face again! :D

Phacellophora camtschatica, commonly known as the fried egg jellyfish or egg-yolk jellyfish, is a very large jellyfish in the family Ulmaridae. It has a bell up to 60 cm (2 ft) in diameter and 16 clusters of up to a few dozen tentacles, each up to 6 m (20 ft) long.
This cool-water species can be found in many parts of the world's oceans. It feeds mostly on smaller jellyfish and other gelatinous zooplankton, which become ensnared in the tentacles. Because the sting of this jellyfish is so weak, many small crustaceans, including larval crabs (Cancer gracilis) and Amphipoda, regularly ride on its bell and even steal food from its oral arms and tentacles. This was taken at Sea Jelly Spectacular (水母萬花筒), 香港海洋公園 Ocean Park Hong Kong. The overhead lighting accentuates the mysterious, somewhat alien impression.

If I hadn't been taking a photo a day, I would almost certainly never have got so hooked on photographing food.
Is that a good thing, or a bad thing, I wonder.
I did eat this. It was the second attempt. The yolk was in the wrong place for the first one, though I ate it anyway.
Good job I got this one right. Imagine my cholesterol levels. ;)
