Todi, 1986 – A quiet moment layered with time and geometry.
I captured my father as he captured the world through his beloved Yashica twin-lens reflex. The intersecting staircases beneath us felt like a metaphor—different paths, same destination: the love of photography.
Stone, shadow, and memory all converging in one frame.
Shot on film, just the way he taught me.
📷 Camera (his): Yashica TLR
️ Medium: 35mm film
📍 Location: Todi, Italy

This Yashica 44A twin lens reflex was my first camera with shutter and aperture controls. It served me well until I got the SLR bug and bought a Pentax S1a in 1968. (See www.yashicatlr.com/yashica44series.html for details of its history)

The, "Neon Sign Museum," is a permanent outdoor installation. The plaque outside the installation notes that some of the neon signs were donated by owners who didn't want the signs to end up as scrap. They are all signs from a bygone era in Edmonton.
