First flown with the Boeing test registration N5573K, this aircraft was delivered to TAROM Romanian Airlines as YR-BGA in Oct-93.
After 27.5 years in service the aircraft was stored at Bucharest-Otopeni in Mar-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It never returned to service.
It was sold to Sky One FZE as N779SY in Apr-23 and remained stored until mid Aug-23 when it ferried to Johannesburg, South Africa. The registration was cancelled in Sep-23. Stored, updated 05-Oct-23.
