Just as you think you've stability, life finds this way of letting you know not to get too comfortable.... Here we go again... I do hope you all are well, I owe you and your support more than I could ever say in words... Thank you all so much...
What hurts more is that I continually came back, as if to allow you to hurt me over and over again... Why did I do that?!?! What was I thinking?!?!
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
For your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone

27th April 2016 - Some of the families of the Hillsboro victims on the steps of St. Georges hall the day after they finally saw justice done.
Like lifeblood flowing, busy rush of aortic activity - as I stand taking this, I feel a certain calm in the hectic scene. The warm evening air is mellowing, the shutter opens and life slows, clears. Then click, it closes, and reality bites...
A re-process and mess around on the PC this morning. Looking like a nice day; need to get out with the family.
Used Silver Efex pro on an image I'd already applied lots of ICM effect in photoshop. Also added some grain (noise).

The area of mostly Victorian terraced streets which surround the Anfield Stadium in Liverpool is undergoing a much needed refurbishment. Some of the gable ends of these properties have been professionally decorated with murals of Liverpool players , past and present.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be putting these artworks onto Flickr.
Starting tomorrow, with my favourite ever player...Ian Rush...this mural is directly opposite the main stand of Anfield stadium.
Out of my comfort zone, capturing people is something I am far from accustomed to - it's a skill I feel I don't possess! But this one I like, I feel it captured the moment really well and the unknown voice can be heard...
Liverpool Football Club´s famous song has set footprints around the world, even at the island Kvaløya in Norway.
The sweet, silver song of a Lark. A snapshot with rushed framing but I do love a Skylark. YNWA
On an early jaunt I saw a Short-eared Owl, a Deer, several Snipes on posts, a Curlew on a post (and pairs with young), a Hare, Grouse with young, my little Rabbit and this lovely bird. Tonight I saw my first Dragonfly of the year, an Urban Fox and a Barn Owl. We're so lucky to have all these beautiful creatures around our area. The town and surroundings are pretty special too.
.... Never stop believing.
One of the increasing number of murals springing up around Liverpool Football Club's Anfield Stadium .
The fine houses on Anfield Road, showing in the background, are looking better than ever, thanks to intervention by the club ; the whole environment there is much improved.
The flagpole at the corner of the Kop and Centenary stands at Anfield was salvaged from the SS Great Eastern when she was broken up in 1889. The ship, designed by Brunel, laid the first enduring telegraph cable across the atlantic but ended her life as a floating dancehall on the Mersey before being broken up at Rock Ferry. The ship's bar and wheel were in the pub of the same name in New Ferry on the WIrral but were removed long before the recent demolition of the building. I think the flagpole at Anfield is a potent symbol of the importance of shipping for the very existence of the city.
Inquest finds that the 96 supporters who went to watch a football match and never came home were 'unlawfully killed'. Justice for the 96, 27 years later, after blame, cover ups, disrespect and slander.... Finally...
27 yrs of distortion and manipulation, with involvement throughout the ranks of government, police and media, 27yrs picking on the wrong city and things finally start to become more clear, Finally the truth is out, and now the justice must follow, Justice for the 96 YNWA.
Image taken using Lens Zoom Technique and features St Georges hall and banners naming the 96 people who died in the Hillsborough disaster in Sheffield England.
Night shot from the Albert Docks, Liverpool...
A strange calmness in the middle of a huge storm front hitting our coasts...
Odd how nature reflects life...
So tomorrow I head for my operation, and I pass my apologies if I am absent for a while, I will check in as and when I can - the friendships and connections I have made here mean a lot. Also, as I do on the 15th, may I ask that you take a moment to remember the 96 Liverpool fans who went to watch a football match and never came home. YNWA....
Just back from a weekend in Paris with the family - had a great time, met some wonderful people, stayed with friends, ate, drank, sang.. fate wasnt on our side (nor were the police or authorities, but thats another story!)
All in all a good weekend, just the one photo - (i think!, the rest are for my memories.)
I do not really know what to write here, so I apologise for what I may type...
In the time it has taken me to be here on my laptop, I have spiralled a little. Blurry thoughts of hurt, tears, pleading for understanding, yearning for truth. I want to say its numbing, but the pain is far from that. It is sharp, and very real.
Fight it, shut up and get up.

A bit of a departure for me, but well, here it is....
