Another one that is now history. This was the very last Boeing 767 to be withdrawn from the Qantas fleet. It then went on to WestJet in Canada as C-FWAD.

On this rotation, N179UA completed UA839 from Los Angeles - Sydney - Melbourne, then UA840 to Sydney and finally UA870 to San Francisco.

N179UA did one final return to Australia 10 March 2014, and was withdrawn January 2017 and later scrapped the same year.

Qantas (Yananyi Dreaming livery)

Melbourne Tullamarine (MEL/YMML) 08.01.2014

One of many special liveries worn by Qantas aircraft celebrating the First Nations people of Australia. Yananyi Dreaming was developed by Indigenous-owned design agency Balarinji, using motifs painted by Central Australian artist Rene Kulitja. Kulitja was inspired by the vibrant colours of the dramatic landscape surrounding Uluru. 'Yananyi' means going or travelling.
