The Bus and Coach Council launched this advertising campaign to express its opposition to de-regulation in 1985, with rather underwhelming results. It didn't exactly state its case very clearly, so I don't know what the general public made of it, but I suppose BCC members might have got the message, so that's job done !
My log states that I photographed it up at Stockport railway station, when it was nearly new, but I really can't picture what the area outside the station was like at that time, and I have no idea what it was doing up there. The viaduct begins just beyond the signal box to the rear of the bus, but I can't recall the yard or car park that 3158 is coming out of, or where it would have ended up after leaving.
I also spent ages trying to track down a picture of 3158 in its later life with Clynnog & Trevor, but that has so far eluded me, so I will give up now and just put this out !

Lothian Country's 593 (LP11 YBA) , a Volvo B5LH Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, seen here at Pumpherston Turning Circle, operating the, now axed, service 275 to Bathgate, Railway Station.
593 was new to Bullocks of Cheadle, in Manchester, March 2011, as BU11 OCS with a fleet number of 1.
591, 592 and 594 are also from Bullocks, this is the list of them below including their current, and previous, fleet numbers and registrations:

593 was primarily used on, and branded for, the Oxford Road Link service.
The ORL operated, and still operates, between Piccadilly Railway Station and Piccadilly Railway Station, as a loop service, via Sackville Street University, All Saints Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford Road University, Grafton Street, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Oxford Road University and Sackville Street University.
1 - 4 were swapped for 4 of Lothian's Scania N94 double - deck Omnicitys (or Omnicities?) in August of 2018.
They were sent to Lothian Country with the being of Lothian Country's expansions into West Lothian. Mainly, they were used on the service 275 which, back in that day, operated between Whitburn and Edinburgh Park. The section of the route between Livingston the Centre and Broxburn remained the same throughout all service revisions.
Just prior to their transfer, 591 - 594 were re-registered, where they gained their "LP11 Y××" plates.
They, initially, we're all in a plain white livery, with Lothian Country logos, when they entered service with Lothian Country. They were sporadically repainted, throughout 2019, with 592 being the first to be repainted in March, followed by 593 in April, 591 in August and then, finally, 594 in October.
November 2021 saw the repaint, and transfer, process of 591 - 594 to East Coast Buses in the brand new, at the time, green and white livery which is shared between Lothian Country and East Coast Buses. This livery was introduced the same month. They didn't last long in service with East Coast Buses before they were withdrawn and taken off the road, due to many complaints from drivers, resulting in union involvement. This took place late February 2022 and, even to this day, 23/02/2023, they are still off road and are now, even, SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification).

Formally numbered 271 and was new to Metrobus.
Go-Ahead Metrobus 271 SN03 YBA is seen in Grovelands Road a minute or so after leaving the St Paul's Cray terminus of route R1. Saturday 8th April 2017. DSCN40875.
