Created from a vacation photo I took in 2007. Camera quality was all of 6 megapixels, so there are some trade-offs. Thank you for looking. As always, it is a pleasure sharing images with you.
Letting my '92 Wrangler cool down a bit while I stretch my legs and capture some photons.
It's not that pretty anymore; this pic was taken shortly after I bought it about 12 years ago. It's considerably dirtier now, and the cover isn't as tight.
Those beads of water coming off the snowy egret's beak remind me of a wranglers lasso. But in fact it's just shaking off the consequences of a failed fishing attempt.

Otherwise known as "Warhorse" the Wrangler line has stood the test of time, driven for military and luxury purposes around the world. So when it came time for a new vehicle the UIC had one vehicle in mind. The Wrangler. Speaking with the Jeep cooperation about troop safety, comfort, and effective defense against attackers or mother nature herself special Wranglers were designed to accommodate the UIC's needs.
Mounted with a M2 Browning, enough smoke launchers to make Snoopy Dog jealous, incoming projectile resistant armor, its safe to say this Warhorse will be around for a while.

This is a bit of a rather emotional post as one I own a Jeep Wrangler (Sahara Edition) and two, I'd always wanted to make a very well done 7 wide Jeep Wrangler, it was quite a process figuring it out. The end result surpassing my wildest dreams.
What with Jeeps 75th anniversary being this week I thought it quite fitting.

I was wandering around the hospital this morning waiting for my dad and decided to be brave and carry my camera. As a rule, I almost never take my camera with me but the light was going to be so good that I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The hospital was under construction in many areas so there weren't many safe places to walk. I followed some paths that led me to discover this snail and I knew that I found my subject. The light led me to a wet grassy area with a large rock to place my models. With great patience, I waited for the snail to come out and I am so glad I did. Thanks, little snail for helping me pass the time.
The moon will guide you through the night with her brightness, but she will always dwell in darkness in order to be seen.

I'm going to be off line for a few days, so I thought I'd leave Wrangler here to entertain you. I'm sure he will be thrilled to keep you amused in the meantime.
This young wrangler attracted a string of photographers as he sat on a fence and watched the comings and goings at the Warren County Fair in New Jersey.
Since its introduction into the UIC the Wrangler has been loved across the board. However there were issues here and there, which all have been throughly looked over, tested, and fixed in the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited model.
Carrying over the same weapon armaments the model features interchangeable manned and unmanned weapons from the Browning M2 to the MK19.

I realized upon uploading this that it'd been two years of tinkering, refining, and repeating the whole process since my last Jeep back in 2016 which spurred a lot of reflection and its crazy to think all that has happened, not just here on flickr but irl as well.
Either way I'm extremely pleased with how this turned out, a huge thank you to Andrew for being the bounce board for a lot of these ideas <3
