Inspired and motivated by my Atlanta Flickr friend, Mark Chandler (see his work), I made the trek into downtown Atlanta, Georgia last evening to photograph around Centennial Olympic Park and the World of Coca Cola complex. I discovered my tripod was NOT in the trunk of my car so I spent a couple hours shooting hand-held.
This enclosed, giant bottle of Coca Cola is atop the World of Coke building and the lighting constantly changes, appearing that the bottle is filling and emptying of Coca Cola. It is, of course, best viewed in the evening. Excuse the grain...without a tripod I was shooting at ISO 12,800 to get a fast enough shutter speed to try to eliminate blur.

I took these two Photographs of a Sedan Delivery Truck during our tour of the World of the Coca Cola Museum. It had the name "Reginald Lee S.A" and "BUENOS AIRES" on the Driver's Door. This 1939 Chevrolet Panel Van (aka: Truck) was specially ordered by the Reginald Lee Family for to use for Deliveries in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On top of the roof, there is another sign in Spanish "BIEN HELADA" which in English means "WELL FROZEN".

In June 2018, my wife & I attended a Family Wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, 275 Baker Street in Atlanta, Georgia. One end the hallway on the on the 13 Floor (they call it Floor PH) gave me a Great View of the CSX Tracks, while the other end of the hallway gave me a great view of the Skyview Ferris Wheel across the street from Centennial Olympic Park.
Since we were in Atlanta for several days, I had some time to visit the Coca Cola Museum, which was a short 2 blocks away from our Hotel.

I took this photograph, from a small Park near the Hilton Garden Inn and the Georgia Aquarium. The Photograph shows an Information/Ticket Booth for the World of Coca Cola Museum. The Roof of the booth is shaped like a Bottle Cap. We couldn't resist buying tickets, so we toured the museum, which I'd rate as fair, but not as interesting as we had hoped.

We visited the Coca Cola Museum in Atlanta, Georgia which is chock full of artifacts and memorabilia from every era of Coke's existence. The fizzy drink, which is available worldwide, was invented in Atlanta on May 8, 1886. It's hard to imagine how much Coke has been consumed in those 138 years!

Atlanta is the capital and most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia. With an estimated 2018 population of 498,044, it is also the 37th most-populous city in the United States. The city serves as the cultural and economic center of the Atlanta metropolitan area, home to 5.9 million people and the ninth-largest metropolitan area in the nation. Atlanta is the seat of Fulton County, the most populous county in Georgia. A small portion of the city extends eastward into neighboring DeKalb County.
Atlanta was originally founded as the terminating stop of a major state-sponsored railroad. With rapid expansion, however, it soon became the convergence point between multiple railroads, spurring its rapid growth. The city's name derives from that of the Western and Atlantic Railroad's local depot, signifying the town's growing reputation as a transportation hub. During the American Civil War, the city was almost entirely burned to the ground in General William T. Sherman's famous March to the Sea. However, the city rose from its ashes and quickly became a national center of commerce and the unofficial capital of the "New South". During the 1950s and 1960s, Atlanta became a major organizing center of the civil rights movement, with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ralph David Abernathy, and many other locals playing major roles in the movement's leadership. During the modern era, Atlanta has attained international prominence as a major air transportation hub, with Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport being the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic since 1998.
Atlanta is rated as a "beta(+)" world city that exerts a moderate impact on global commerce, finance, research, technology, education, media, art, and entertainment. It ranks in the top twenty among world cities and 10th in the nation with a gross domestic product (GDP) of $385 billion. Atlanta's economy is considered diverse, with dominant sectors that include transportation, logistics, professional and business services, media operations, medical services, and information technology. Atlanta has topographic features that include rolling hills and dense tree coverage, earning it the nickname of "the city in a forest." Revitalization of Atlanta's neighborhoods, initially spurred by the 1996 Summer Olympics, has intensified in the 21st century, altering the city's demographics, politics, aesthetics, and culture.

I took this Photograph of a Whole Lot of Coca Cola Signs and Memorabilia in a Display Case at the World of Coca Cola Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. This is similar to the previous Photograph, except it it is shifted further to the Right Side of the Display Case, Notice the Large Coke bottle on the extreme Left Side of this Photograph. This same Coke Bottle appears in the Center of the previous Photograph. Notice the Price on that Coca Cola Sign was 5 Cents
I didn't remove the Spot Light Reflection that appears on the Woman's Hair in the Top Left Center because It was would have been somewhat more difficult than removing it from the previous Photograph. Also, you will notice my reflection, in two places, at the Bottom Left Side of this Photograph.
DISCLAIMER: This Photograph was a Tough One to touch up in Photoshop Elements 10 because of the Reflections on the Glass Display Case and and numerous reflections from the Florescent Lights and Spot Lights in the Ceiling. I spent a few hours fixing the most of the reflects, this Photograph was much more difficult to clean up. Some of the remaining Reflections, such as the two Reverse Circular Coco Cola Logos in the center of the Photograph actually add to my Presentation.
