Decided to add some detail to some already built cars. I have to start wiring the engines while building the cars, and not after, that's much harder.

The box is made with quite luxe curly maple yet showcases only a penny, the smallest possible denomination of american currency: A piece of metal unfit to picked up from the ground.

work in progress. am hoping to finish this very soon so I can be warm

i wanted to share a work in progress... right now it's really about working through the idea and the "mechanics" of it. simply put, creating a pattern that will work.

they will probably end up looking very different, but i thought i'd share a little bit of the process.

Above I am making 2 charms. They are being made for a raffle that includes many jewelers! As soon as the logistics are tidied up I will post more information.

100% of the proceeds will be going to GlobalGiving.org.

This is a work in progress. I've finished the first layer, and that's what you see here. The second layer will be woven through the first. This bracelet is made with black and clear size 11 seed beads.

I've been working on a charcoal grey winter set for my s.o. Nathaniel. Right now I've completed the scarf. The panda is wearing what I have done for the hat so far.

The yarn I am using is to die for. It's Classic Elite Inca Alpaca color #1177 lot #3033. It is insanely soft and almost oily... it feels like silk even though it's 100% alpaca from Peru. It comes in a number of good colors too... definately going to a repeat customer.

Anyway... after the hat comes the wrist warmers. Look out for those.

I started this painting today, using acrylics as water media paint on paper. I am painting this landscape from imagination, drawing from memories of the Rocky Mountains in my home state of Colorado. This is a small painting (9 x 12 inches). I started this painting with the line of the bright pink mountains. The decision to add the long diagonal in the sky was influenced by a shadow falling on the paper. I liked the shape the shadow made, and It made me think of the sharp line of an approaching storm front. I got a lot done today, but this is still a work in progress.

This is where the most detail lies on this painting... currently.

In the next week this will be put together as one ring.

should I finish it all the way?

I've been in a frenzy in the last two weeks.. here's another version of my favorite god of the Hindu pantheon (although he is missing four of his arms).

Not sure of the size, but it's big.. at least 36 x 20 or so. All acrylic paint.
