E' apparentemente una laguna ma non ha le caratteristiche proprie della laguna, non sa né di acqua fradicia, né di acqua dolce, né marcia.
Complessivamente lo Stagnone è lungo Km 11 e largo Km 3 e può dirsi formato da due bacini:
il meridionale, di circa 1000 ettari, verso Marsala, il cui fondale si mantiene intorno ad una profondità di m 3 e il settentrionale, vasto 1400 ettari con fondo basso, 50 cm circa, che comprende le tre isolette di MOZIA, S.MARIA e LA SCOLA.

And you KNOW I don't make this stuff up ... ;)
And you KNOW I don't believe in dreams ... not really ... Certainly not of the belief that "if you just THINK it ... it will come true" ... um ... nope.
I believe in honest, authentic, back breaking, brain challenging, sweat inducing, time consuming .... HARD WORK ... to make my "dreams" come true ...
So, on this day ... I am here to announce ... that I have taken the initial steps ... to make ONE of my dreams come true ...
I am going to Florida ... to see my Grandson !!! YAY.
And ... as dreamy as all that sounds ... I am scared to death ... to make the trip ... to board a plane ... and all that entails freaks me out to the core ... and then ... after arrival ... to fall in love ... and then have to come back home :( :( :( Leaving my sweet Abel, once again ...
My son has made this ALL possible ... and for that, I am extremely grateful ... and proud :)

My little Siri Santa Cruz's Dream ALSO came true ... I finally put her in a pair of PANTS!! :)

I hope you are all "working" on making a "dream" come true ... whether it be a personal dream ... a dolly dream ... or even an impossible dream ... ;) May the forces be with you ... planets perfectly aligned ... working together with your actions ... to reward your efforts ...
Because we all have to "believe" ... to begin :)
