Junior Achievement (JA) of Greater Washington sent 12 Dunbar High School and Anacostia High School students to the White House to learn about cybersecurity through the Federal Information Technology (IT) Job Shadow partnership between the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Council Workforce Committee and JA of Greater Washington.

Mayor Michael A. Nutter announces that Goldman Sachs Gives will donate $375,000 to the 10,000 Summer Jobs Challenge to increase the number of WorkReady Philadelphia enhanced summer job opportunities for youth.

On March 31, 2015, the South Carolina State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management presented an Honorary Human Resource Professional of the Year Award to Governor Nikki Haley for her promotion of improved education, support of WorkReady Communities, the state’s right-to-work status, leadership in creating partnerships among agencies to hire veterans, and success of economic growth in the Palmetto State.
