but seeking for a spot to light - be a blessing to someone”

― Bernard Kelvin Clive

Down a lone road I went, down to the end of it, I road and road until there was no more, and when I find, I'll search no more, down this long road.

Life moves about us, but we must stay and live among the living, for in time we will begin to understand and learn from those who came before us and as we progress in life, let us never loose hope, for God has a purpose for us.

In the small village, the people gathered to hear his words, and they heard the truth as it was written long ago.

Sometimes, it's good to relax!

Let Your Smile Change the World.

Background story: This tiny flower (daisy fleabane) in my driveway was little but strong enough to make me smile that day.

This is where we start! We grow, develop, and contribute, touching other's as we pass along the way.

"The idea of infinite or unlimited growth, which proves so attractive to economists, financiers and experts in technology ... is based on the lie that there is an infinite supply of the earth's goods, and this leads to the planet being squeezed dry at every limit...

Yet all is not lost. Human beings, while capable of the worst, are also capable of rising above themselves, choosing again what is good, and making a new start."

-Pope Francis

Let go of your burdens, and free your mind and soul of all worries. For it is written, let go and let God.

Even if the treat is green, never say no to it, you might be surprised how it tastes. This is a Kale Chip and has Nutritional Yeast sprinkled on it and it tastes quite delicious.

Happy Valentine's Day! 2022

Background story: This graphic photo was made with a Valentine chocolate box from Elmer Chocolate (since 1855), the bottom of a white dish drain board and a program called uMark (a free watermarking software). <3

Indeed, these last few days it has been more stormy looking than I would hoped for but I guess I'll just have to weather the storm!!

a year of living positively, day 326

I received this quote in an e-mail. It didn't state the author. I thought they were rather wise words. Thanks to BlueLunarRose for letting me know this quote is by Dr, Seuss.

I think this is very inspirational and considering we are all living with Covid-19 it speaks volumes.

Little cross stands about two inches tall. Reminds me to pray for my mother who has been in the hospital all week. She is 81 years old. I need the saying on this little cross to get me through every day. I can't do all this work to take care of the house on my own.

ho·ri·zon n. the scope of a person's interest, education, understanding, etc.

I believe that if everyone was to broaden their scope of thinking and expand their view of perceiving others, we'd all get along much better with each other.

I bought this fridge magnet because I've said many times when I forget something that my mind is full!

...from my morning litter patrol. The cans and plastic bottles are returnable for the 10-cent deposit. The rake and angel will go in my charity box. Also recovered a plastic hanger and a hat. I dumped four buckets of trash and put some cardboard and newspaper in recycling.

The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of its scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, Spring would lose its loveliness.

I know that this isn't by any means my best work. I know that it's kind of cliche, and the colors are a little odd. But this photo and this quote mean a lot to me. I'm going to try to stop neglecting my photography so much. I miss it.

This was done using Twinkling H2O's and LuminArte's new line of Silks Acrylic Glaze, with definition and shading using Pigma Micron pen. It's for a new art journaling inspiration challenge I'm starting called "Words To Live By". Join me on my blog and share your creations.

A little thing can mean so much.

Funny because true?

The quote is just to remind myself that while change and doing things differently can be painful, lethargy and ennui can hurt just as much.

Took a trip to Crosswinds Marsh with Carol this Sunday because I felt the need to get out and shoot something and so I could say I didn't spend the entire day being a sloth. It's a lovely place but so many mosquitos.
