I love owls. When I was in third grade my father owned a fish camp in a very rural and remote part of Florida. I got to school via a school bus, which came very early since we lived so far from the school. I stood alone at the top of our drive, by a huge oak tree, awaiting the bus. Every morning a small owl was sitting above me in the tree and would gently make owl sounds; "whoooo, whoooo." I remember making the sound back to it and considered the little owl my friend. The joys of childhood memories!

Quando sono andato a scuola, mi hanno chiesto cosa volessi diventare da grande. Ho risposto “felice”. Mi dissero che non avevo capito l’esercizio e io risposi che loro non avevano capito la vita.
Lately I feel a certain inertia. I talk to my SL brothers and explore Sims. Was it in a coming and going of Chouchou that I came across this image: desolation, contemplation, hope? I took several angles, read the profile, talked to the stranger, asked permission to upload the image. Honestly, I was undecided, but it is for a common feeling that I will share it: contemplation and desolation.
This music is all:
Humanity is facing which is perhaps its biggest challenge ever. Will we choose wisely? Hard to know at this point...

If animals could speak, the dog would be a blundering outspoken fellow; but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much.
~ Mark Twain
This is my friend's cat. He is 19 years old and still active enough to jump onto his favourite chair.
Happy Caterday!

I last photographed this cat seven years ago. That portrait is in the first comment.
A blushing little Mayflower
Turned away her head,
Too polite to let a weed
Hear a word she said.

I will tell you how the spirit he becomes a camel, as the cammel becomes a lion, and as the lion finally becomes a child
She's a green garden goddess
Tender of the weed
She knows how to find it
Grows everything she needs
She's a real wise woman
With so much love to give
She gives so much
'Cause she stays in touch
With what her truest nature is
She's a green garden goddess
She hears the universe
She's out there with the planet
But she keeps it down to earth
'Cause she the wise, wise woman, woman, woman
She keeps my mind open, mind open
Yeah, she's a wise, wise woman, woman, woman
She keeps her heart open, heart open

I sat next to this calm grey or blue heron in Boca Raton, Florida for a half hour - and his equanimity was inspiring. Maybe some rubbed off.
