Een mooie maar bitterkoude winterochtend zoals ik hem hier nog niet beleefd heb. Alles zag er zo mooi uit,helemaal berijpt en als kadootje kwam de zon boven een dampend meer op. Ik vond het origineel spectaculaider,maar goed toch een kopietje ;-)

Sunrise by the lake on a cold and white morning. And there was a lot of fog wich gave it a mystical atmosphere.

A small clattering of Jackdaws and the odd crow took flight from their overnight roost as I approached the trees along the riverside. Quite a sound as they all depart at the same time! This was only half of them as I wasn't quite quick enough to catch the rest as they departed in the other direction.

On a snowy, frigid winter morning, Mother Nature started the day with a breathtaking sunrise. I hope that it is her good-bye winter masterpiece. It does seem like the weather, at last, has taken a turn towards spring. :)

The river " de oude ijssel " just after sunrise on a very cold wintermorning. The water is stil warm so the fog is rising from the river. So short after sunrise there is stil a nice golden glow on the picture!

Thank you all for viewing and many faves, warm comments and awards to the series of photos of Yosemite. This will be the last posting from my Feb 2020 visit to the park - posted 34 out of some 3,000 photos that I took in the 10 day stay.
I do look forward to the next visit - had purchased a flight ticket to San Francisco for the next winter, before this COVID-19. I hope we all will become able to resume travelling soon.

New snow low sun. Photo is from Søvik in Alstahaug, Helgeland, Norway. The mountain is the Dønna island.
Kaptai Lake is the largest lake in Bangladesh. It is located in the Kaptai Upazila under Rangamati District of Chittagong Division. The lake was created as a result of building the Kaptai Dam on the Karnaphuli River, as part of the Karnaphuli Hydro-electric project.
On January 2nd in the nature reserve of the juniper heather "Dr. Heinrich Menke Park" near the village of Arft in the Eifel.
Due to the relatively high location (over 600 meters above sea level), this wonderful hiking area near the Hohe Acht is relatively snow-sure.
Am 2. Januar im Naturschutzgebiet der Wachholderheide "Dr. Heinrich Menke Park" bei Arft in der Hocheifel.
Aufgrund der relativ hohen Lage (über 600 müM) ist dieses herrliche Wandergebiet in der Nähe der Hohen Acht relativ schneesicher.

At the moment of the upload (7.45 a.m.) the morning sky looks exactly like this ... ok, too late to be on site with the camera in time.
Eine weitere Version von meiner "Heimlocation" an einem anderen Morgen...jedes Mal wieder schön wie ich finde. Gerade im Moment des uploads (7:45 Uhr) sieht der Morgenhimmel genau so aus...ok, zu spät, um noch rechtzeitig mit der Kamera vor Ort zu sein.
