The Sunday Evening Post, No.30: The Seminal Ballot

I've had this small "Mind The Gap" sign for many years - picked it up on a trip to London because we have so many fond memories of our times there, but also because it is a reminder of how differently people can perceive the same situation. I kept in on my desk at work.

Today's January 6th Commission Hearing about how Trump knew that the mob was armed and dangerous, and sent them to the Capitol anyway, is an example. He wanted to join them at the Capitol to interfere with the vote counting, called them "my people" and wasn't afraid of them. Trump supporters are all disputing the facts and weaving a different narrative for the situation; though as the evidence mounts their manufactured conspiracies become more and more fragile.

"America’s Firm Resolve to End Childhood Abuse and Neglect”

The far-right dittoheads who seem to have taken over BBC's HYS have maybe half a dozen different cliches which they vomit out every time a subject comes up. One of the favourites is this notion that there's no climate-change, it's just a scam to get more taxes out of people. Naturally I have to expose these people for the freaky scared ostriches they are. Here are two examples of postings I've made which were received positively with lots of recommendations, and then suddenly they're rejected....hmm, thanks BBC.

It would be extraordinary if just one of these people aregued in a reasonable and rational manner. But they just sound like clones of one another

A dickwad called Andrew Hunt (rhymes with...) keeps writing unbelievably ill-informed far right wing bullshit on the BBC's Have Your Say site.

I quted his most recent ignorant output and destroyed him completly with my excellent response, as did a number of other people.

Andrew is oneof these people who claim that they diliberately don't recycle, and of course the 'logic' for doing this is always twisted and sick.

My response garnered me a considerable number of approval votes from Have Your Say readers. When i checked my posting history today I discovered that my comment had suddenly been rejected by the BBC! WTF?

It gives the lie to the notion that the dar right are always putting out that there's an anti-right-wing bias at the Beeb, that's for sure.

Consider yourself lucky if you don't have to drive through North Apex. This is what I have to look at every day. Note who this teabagger is supporting...go figure!

Uncertainty and fear are two different states of being. They can affect many of us independently or simultaneously at certain times throughout our lives and cause us to react a certain way or not react based on these emotions. The saying, "people tend to fear what they do not understand" and "uncertainy and doubt goes hand and hand" is factually accurate. In certain instances, some people will totally dismiss what is right in front of their eyes due personal reasons even when they are presented with truths, willful ignorance. Some of us can become so offended by the truth that we will outright refuse to accept and/or ridicule a particular truth out of fear, uncertainty or both.

Sometimes when some of us are in a fearful uncertain state of being we begin to exercise willful ignorance in order to keep living comfortably in the now false "reality" in which we have become so accustomed. This can be dangerous not only for ourselves, but also for those around us. This is not to say that we should integrate with every change that takes place within our reality/society, however we should utilize discernment and consult with The Higher Source in which we connect and move accordingly.

Some of us have become too dependent, comfortable or lazy and rely on others (media, SM, friends, family or co-workers) to provide us with instructions on how to live or what is best for our lives. There are too many of us exercising willful ignorance in this current "age of information" and it is astounding! Some have even misplaced their "faith in these times of trouble" and are desperately looking for someone else to give them their faith (most churches, mosques and synagogues are closed). Considering we are in an era where just about any and everything is at our fingertips, there is really no excuse for us to remain ignorant about some of the things that are currently taking place within our reality. These are the times in which the knowing and/or the faith many of us learned should be greatly practiced. The writing has BEEN on the wall. This will resonate with the intended. ~SagaciousKia 💖
