Wile driving along the Eastern Parkway in Ottawa last week, I discovered This very narrow, golden strip of land with water on both sides creating some pretty amazing reflections as you can see.

Wile on a trip to Nashville we stumbled upon this odd sight; The Parthenon in Nashville Tennessee, This shot is us having fun with friends... the columns of the Nashville Parthenon are incredibly large and are an exact duplicate of the Greek Parthenon.

The Lauchernalp is in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. It sits on a sunny terrace, between 1,900 and 2,100 metres above sea level, overlooking the Lötschental above Wiler.
Wile E. Coyote would be proud of this young pup! Whatever he is on the prowl for will get its due! ..or as the tune goes: "if he catches you ....your through!
For those who don't know who Wile E. Coyote is follow this link:
Wile out walking yesterday we went alongside a field where a number of lambs had just been born. Some were very frail on their little legs. here a mother is cleaning her little one.
These falls powered the Wile Carding Mill until 1968. The old mill is now a museum in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

Mosaic images of ‘Wile E. Coyote’ and the 'Road Runner’ by street artist ‘Matthew Leak’. These pieces of artwork can be found on Edge Street in the ‘Northern Quarter’ of Manchester. The images are in separate locations on the street I’ve just removed the bit in the middle and joined them together. As we all know ‘Wile E.’ never got this close to ‘The Roadrunner’; the rocket would have exploded first………Probably when it hit the drainpipe...!

Coyote. I was standing at the end of a trail and looking around to enjoy the winter scene when I noticed this magnificent Coyote coming along the snow-covered trail. No Roadrunner here; however, there are plenty of voles that it was after. It stopped midway, waited a few minutes and then turned back in the direction it came from. Phew!!
This is the same little scamp running across the yard. Three photos blended into one. We don't see the raccoons so much anymore as the babies are full grown in size now and come out late at night with the rest of the rabble rousers. We miss them but are happy to know they are progressing nicely into adulthood.
The coyote is a member of the dog family and is a species of canine native to North America. Canis latrans has a wide distribution throughout North America, including Mexico, and into Central America. It is smaller than its close relative, the wolf, and slightly smaller than the closely related eastern wolf and red wolf. The species is very versatile, especially in its ability to exploit human-modified environments.

Wile E Coyote maybe a super genius, but certainly has no chance to catch a big block powered Roadrunner

Found him slinking around the Redwood City Marina. He's getting a bit old, so I assume he is just there to scare off the ducks and geese (slower than roadrunners) instead of actually catching them.
Apparently it was my weekend for coyote encounters. I took this shot on Friday morning at the Riparian Preserve as two coyotes made their way across Pond 2. But then, a little freakishly, Jasper and I were stalked by a coyote on our walk by our house Sunday morning. First it passed us, trotting up the street as if out for a morning run. But it must have perceived my apprehension (aka, perceived weakness) and started coming towards us. So I took an aggressive stance and stamped my feet. It ran back across the street. But then started following us again. I had to twice more turn and yell at it to back off as it got within about 15ft (~4.5m). When Jasper and I got to a cross street and turned the coyote trotted up to the intersection and watched us as we walked down the street. My head was on a swivel from then on. I've read that coyote attacks on humans are extremely rare, but it seems I need to strengthen my alpha dog vibe. Woof, woof!
