Taken along the Wicklow Gap near Glendalough, Wicklow, Ireland. The winter sun was beginning to go down throwing a shadow on the hillside to the right and leaving the valley below in poor light. I used a Lee .3 Graduated ND Filter to balance the sky.

Hi all hope your all keeping well ...I took this at a recent photo meet up about insects but who can resist photographing lovely wicklows landscape 💚
There is a place along the Dargle River where the trees over hang the water. As winter approaches there is a short window when the sun shines though the leaves on the trees throwing and orangey-red hue onto the surrounding rocks and and river.

Glendalough is a glen and village in Ireland at its downstream end located in the Wicklow Mountains. The village is on the site of a former monastery in County Wicklow. It was established in the 6th century by Saint Kevin, a hermit priest, and destroyed by the English in 1398.
