I thought a bright flower might be in order for Sliders Sunday, especially for those of you who live in northern climates like I do. HSS!

Who would think a rose so sweet Would dry and crumble at the feet And blooms that scent the night and day Would steal a heart, then fade away
New Body, New Skin, New everything ....
Still working on the shape and eyes. New Legacy Body
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Seen you from afar
Wondered who you are
Wondered what you're like
Think you're just my type
And now I'm dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, of you
And now I'm dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, of you
Want you, yes I do
Bet you never knew it
Think you'd suit me fine
Want you all the time
(Deeply cropped image using a truly great lens)
Gotta say, I’m not sure ‘Bella’ is the most apt name for that one!
Colour the empty space
Kiss in a crowded place
Stand in the summer rain
Tangled in awkward shapes
A new, but familiar taste
You're feeling it all again
Footprints along the sand
Whispers of sweet romance
Sound of a wedding band
Holding hands in the street
No need to be discreet
Finally feeling free
The universe has pulled us closer
I trust whatever's brought me here to you
You can never lose
If love is what you feel then
It's not wrong
To want the world for someone
It's not a feeling you can run from
'Cause we love who we love
So let go
You don't know better than your heart knows
Whether they're here or long gone
We love

Southern Boobook (Ninox novaeseelandiae)
This Boobook (Owl) visited the Heathdale - Glen Orden Wetlands on this day in 2018. The Southern Boobook is the smallest and most commonly seen owl in Australia.
Sometimes those that lurk in the background... are the biggest support one can find.... or are they... bloody gnomes broke my shoe and there ~~Matthew~~ is standing in the background... LURKING... not helping...
🎼: Dark Music~ The Sealed Kingdom~
Matthew has been a long time friend and amazing through out the years. He doesn't truly Lurk but is right there and always with a quick whip comment
After 5 weeks, I am back at the park with my beloved squirrels. I'm not sure who this is. It might be P. Diddy :D (Squirrels-2021-6180.jpg)
The Tower Grove Park owlets were out and visible during my visit. Many thanks to another birder who generously shared their location.
This shot cost me Canon 18-55mm AF IS Lens, a Flash Gun, A 4 MB CF Card and a Spare Battery ! All removed from my camera bag whilst taking photo's in a Church yard ! Never seen a thing, lesson well taught and learnt !
Anyone who has hiked to Devil's Bridge in Sedona, Arizona knows that this image is something of a feat. The Bridge is one of the most popular hikes in Sedona and typically very crowded (as it was this day).
The 5' wide, 45' long and 54' high sandstone arch (created by wind and weather erosion vice flowing water, which creates natural bridges) is the tallest in the Sedona region. The trail is not particularly strenuous, but it does start at 4400' and climb to 4900'. Parking near the trailhead is often jammed, and the road is really suitable only for 4WD vehicles. We hiked the Mescal and Chuckwagon Trails to the trailhead and enjoyed a spectacular spring day.
Must be able to show my nice experience although the picture has not been so good quality
A crane was surprised by a fox. It ended with the fox had to run back into the woods. No one was hurt
Name tags for my children's candy jars (so they don't fight over who gets what and why ;D)
Happy Macro Monday everyone and a very happy new month to all :)))
