A glorious garden display of tulips and polyanthus flowers in Whitehall Gardens which adjoins the Victoria Embankment beside the River Thames in London.
Part of Epping Forest. As I post this, we are in a bit of a heatwave and this would be great to walk in right now!
Built in 1858 and rebuilt in 1882 the 108 foot Burr Truss covered wooden bridge over the Jordan Creek in South Whitehall is in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. The Manasses Guth Bridge was the third covered bridge that my sweet west coast damsel went to on that day during out outing in Lehigh Valley in the fall of last year. My damsel and I walked up to the bridge which was closed to traffic late in the afternoon when I took this lovely image of the span.
AVR-6 exits the south portal of Whitehall Tunnel on its way to the Wheeling interchange at Bruceton with tankers and stone empties.
The 842 Logan Local creeps into Whitehall on the MRL 5th Sub with 3 cars in tow for a customer here. In a few hours the local would start the return trip east to Logan with another 3 cars on the bright sunny day of November 7, 2024.
