It's as efficient as it looks. The MacBook can get really hot [no porn cited]. This ikea A4 holder doubles as a stand quite decently.
Stole Anakin Skywalker's computer :)
My first lightpainting experiment. Ok I admit it, actually its my second one. The first one - a few years back - went nothing like I expected. Didn't do any light painting after that. So this is the first successful one :)
A general view of the space in front of my bed. Great for movie-watching sessions, working with the hackintosh when needed, and offering lots of storage in these boxes. You can't imagine what fits in there. Believe me!

Inside of a Western Digital Caviar 1210 Hard Drive manufactured 29 July 1994.
At that stage the capacity was a massive 212.6 MB.
(If I am lucky I will be able to save 4 of my Canon 5Div *.CR2 RAW Files on it!)
To put that into perspective:
1024 MB in a Gigabyte.
Today we buy hard drives designated in Terrabytes and there are 1024 GB in a Terrabyte.
The platter is about 94mm in diameter and is a very highly reflective goldish dark brown.
It is somewhat reminiscent of an old record player, isn't it?
