The boarding students had a fun weekend on the Upper School campus. On October 24, they learned how to make Maki-zushi with Modern Language teachers Mami Takeda and Anna Zhao. They cut up vegetables, mixed tuna with mayo and helped Mami cook thin omelets. Each student was given a rolling mat, a seaweed sheet and sushi rice to make their own rolls. Some showed off their mastery skills with beautiful creations. On October 25, the boarders returned to campus to play games and relax in the Fieldhouse.

Dave, Tara, Bill, Eve, Cory, Ryan & Amber during Cory's visit to Canada, for our first Kids Weekend in six years - the grandchildren didn't join us for this one
These photos all come from a 1971-74 album which was found in some disrepair at MRS HQ RAF Valley; some pages may be missing and they certainly were not in any chronological sequence.
Some photos were damaged and many too firmly glued in to be removed for scanning so each page was re-photographed and each photo then extracted including any relevant text.
The album has now been returned wrapped, boxed & returned to Valley. If you can identify anyone not named please use the Comments Box below to add their names.

My brother and his family visited for the weekend from northern B.C., these are his two sons (er... my nephews) having some fun heading down to a local park
